We need to make a tag for trans people to speak amongst our own community, bc right now the trans tags fucking suck. Theyre too full of pornbots advertising (stolen) images of women with links that will infect your computer with viruses you cant even dream of. I'm not talking about the users who just happen to post hole btw, I mean the flood of unmanned bots.

And they all crosstag shit that has nothing to do with being trans. No matter what tag you go in- trans pride, trans positivity, ftm, mtf, transmasc, transfem, nonbinary- it's all flooded with spam.

I think I'm gonna start using a new tag, and I hope y'all will join me so it makes it easier for us to all find each other and read real input from living people, not just bots.

Maybe #transblr? The tag doesn't seem to be commonly in use, with the latest post being several months old at this point. It's also broad enough to encompass any trans, nonbinary, or gnc folk who might want to use it. And, best of all, I don't see any spam bots.

I’ve been doing some field work with geologists this winter and I’m kind of amazed by how these dudes can pick up a handful of dirt and talk about it for an hour using terms I’ve never heard of. Like wow you see a whole universe in there that I don’t. The world is truly full of beauty and we only comprehend a fraction of it.

I made it home safe

There was a huge accident in the intersection directly next to our building. Like not even a full block away. You can't turn left out of the parking lot. Someone ran inside yelling that a car flipped. They served dinner outside due to the Kaizen so most ppl were still eating in the tent in the parking lot (I was already staying late bc of the event, I was not stuck bc of the accident) and there were at least 7 fire trucks blocking off the road when I walked over to my pick-up spot

My driver had to detour like 3 times just to meet up because they were blocking off the road from both directions so he had to cut thru a gas station parking lot just to reach me (which I didn't know about til after he got me or I would've canceled). 3 blocks down they were still redirecting traffic and my Uber driver said they usually only do that when someone has died.

I'm just really, really hoping it wasn't someone from our work cuz people have been staying til 11pm this week due to the Kaizen and everyone is running off like 3 hours of sleep a night. My coworker was so tired today he was slurring his words and I was just thinking like 5 hours ago that I hope he drives safe tonight because he looked dead on his feet and then this happened and :(
