was gonna wait to post this until i designed my wigglytuff but honestly who knows when that'll happen LOL

anyway this is my pmd2 chatot design :D deets below

im mostly happy with this design! its not my best or anything but i dont hate it, which is an improvement from how designing usually goes for me lol

some thoughts about specific details!

going in, i definitely wanted to give him glasses to convey that he's a nerd, as well as the secretary vibe. (he does way more than a secretary; basically all administrative work for the guild) i think this is a common design trait for him but i was particular inspired by this one!

i was debating giving him so kind of bowtie when my gf suggested he have a cravat! i love this and eventually decided to make his neck feathers look that way rather than having him wear one. i think it works without looking too silly (but he is. silly)

his colors resemble that of blue and gold macaws irl, so i decided to lean into that with the yellow on his wings as well as the small pink feathers on his face, mimicking the black ones macaws have.

finally, i was debating giving him a stopwatch and decided to have it be a badge - maybe its both? like it looks like a badge but he can open it to a little clock interface inside. it's not an official badge like the ones expedition teams carry, but denotes his connection to expeditionaries regardless

he has a somewhat stern, somewhat kind expression. its meant to go either way, because he is both things!!

ive given all of the existing npcs from eos Actual Names for my au, and the way it works is that its their name, and then their species is their last name. so Fabio Chatot, Razz Wigglytuff, Skye Prinplup, etc
