Empty spaces.
I don’t need other people
To fill the empty spaces you left in me
I wonder if you feel the same?
I guess feeling kinda empty
Is something somewhat familiar to me
Like I’ve seen this movie before
But I can’t change the ending
So I just sit and watch idly
As fate washes away

2:22 am
It’s 2:22 in the morning
I’ve had a few too many
I get sentimental and reach for my phone
I dial your number out of habit
Knowing you won’t pickup
but hearing your voice
say your own name
brings me a moment of blissful peace
but blissful moments vanish quickly
and the dark thoughts crash down
and I wonder why you aren’t answering..
it’s probably because we are over
but my selfish thoughts take over
and I pray to a nonexistent god
that you are in bed alone
