Susan had been wrapping up her day that was supposed to be tucked away in her cozy museum office. Recovering a supposedly(once) destroyed Monet. Maybe one stolen piece from Kunsthal could’ve slipped away from being burned. Who’s to say. That wasn’t important. What was was that Susan found it in 2012, and was in the process of putting it away when there was a knock at the door— and another, and another. So she got up, and opened the door- just enough to lean herself out of the crack. It had been a while since anyone actually came to her office.

“Hiii. Hello. My office hours are posted on the door, right where you were knocking. Otherwise, I’m appointment only.”

She glanced at the grandfather clock in the middle of her office. “… But I guess if you make it quick and interesting I can squeeze you in right now.”
