uuugh sorry for 3 month hiatus lmao (enjoy this lil drawing i made :D)

Ok RL update time: was busy with figuring out my finaid situation for college, then getting scammed by a dude and having to create a whole new bank account :( which ultimately just sucked the money from my wallet the motivation to draw out of me and then when i was pulling myself together, i was suddenly busy celebrating my friends being back home from their college (wooo!) and then my roommates and i were apartment hunting for college. We managed to find a decently cheap apartment (well as cheap as it can be for a city on the outskirts of LA lmao) and we finally got approved and accepted and signed the lease! Most of my college stuff is getting figured out and ive been getting more motivated to art and now i luckily have more free time on my hands too!

Ive been having more personal time now, so hopefully i can draw more fandom fanart (lately ive mostly been doing OC stuff but honestly idk if i want to include my OCs here or just keep it fandom only) I do have some bad news, my Summertime Comic will continue to be put on hiatus just cause i need to do more research :') Looking over my outline, i was very ambitious with the story and topics i wanted to juggle. I do want to make it relatively accurate well as accurate as it can be for a made up town inspired by 1970s Germany can be So i dont want to continue the story right now with my half assed research and possibly offend/possibly hurt anyone with my ignorance on these sensitive/political topics and worldbuilding. That being said, I understand hiatuses kinda suck so i might just create an alternate ending that strays away from these deeper topics and try to keep the plot strictly "Forger family reconciliation" just for the sake of having closure to the story, and then when i have more time to do ample research, I'll draw out the "true ending" of what i wanted to happen. Or I might even just take parts and pieces of the original plot and simplify it to make it more easy for me to draw and so it'll have the remnants of my OG vision of the story. I'm still undecided but i really really do like the story and i dont want to entirely abandon it :)

I think mentioned it in my last comic post that i already had the draft done of the next part and that is true, so now that i have more time ill clean up the linework on that part and post it at some point (hopefully by this month) ((let me give you a lil sneak peak. also ik it looks angsty but i swear its a sweet wholesome part with family feels <3))

Anyways TDLR: im back and i got most of my rl stuff figured out and i want to use the rest of my summer break to draw fun comfort fanart things that ik i wont have as much time for when i attend college. ok so i picture this taking place some time in the end of high school where Nagisa eventually does cut his hair, but Kayano still wants to style his hair thus the lil poof sticking out (also she does her hair more nagi style in remembrance for his pigtails rip)

Sidenote: I think hair is actually rather personal as silly as it seems. Like the act of shaving your hair entirely or growing it out can symbolize a lot of things and mean a lot to people. As someone who grew up with a lot of aggressive haircombing by others and my mom using my hair to threaten me by saying she'll cut it off if i dont do this or that, I tend to me quite protective of my hair and letting others do my hair means i really trust that person. Idk how to explain it, but i always liked kayano for that, for helping Nagisa feel more comfortable in his own skin and doing his hair for him. :D

((should also preface that my mom and i are on good terms now and aside from the occasional badgering to brush my hair, she doesnt touch it now :D))

NagiKae is cool, but i wish their friendship/relationship was more developed. I mean theyre literally 2 small chihuahuas wolves masquerading as sheep.

BNHA Dragon Pageant Au

Just wanted to draw dragons, also im trying to spread the dragons are puppies agenda. Also i imagined this au to be rather fluffy :D

So in this world people and dragons coexsist peacefully. That being said people tend to favor dragons that are more colorful and bright that can fly long distances while more muted/duller color dragons with disabilities are seen as very unattractive. Katsuki being raised by Mitsuki has a good eye for dragons and collects the most colorful beautiful ones and often puts them in dragon beauty pageants lmao Katsuki's childhood friend, izuku, generally just loves dragons and hopes to become a dragon veterinarian! So imagine his surprise one day when his best friend kacchan comes barreling in carrying 4 eggs he found when he fell into the river lmao and says he needs "useless deku to not be useless and help him hatch these dragons" cause he claims they will "be the most beautiful fucking dragons youve ever fucking seen and my old hag will finally start taking me seriously after she sees me win the pageant with these suckers" And so they hatch the dragons together and while Izuku learns more about the pageant scene due to Katsuki, he realizes how sad the dragon bias and discrimination is. So when he finds brown, dull color dragon Uraraka with her cute lil face, Izuku makes it his goal to also win the pageant with his "unattractive" dragons to prove a point. But of course Katsuki thinks Deku's new goal is a direct challenge to him and his precious dragons and that deku looks down on Katsuki's dragons as if he thinks his dull dragon can win which causes a tear in their friendship and their rivalry begins. Throughout the story, Izuku saves Tenya when he is being poached by dragon slayer Stain and also befriends the beautiful, but dangerous Shoto after he finds him running away from his abuser who bred him through illegal breeding markets.

I like to think the AU ends with Katsuki and Izuku showing off thier dragons at the pageant but then Izuku realizes that pageants are dumb and he doesnt want anyone to judge his poor dragons for things they cant control, not to mention he hates that his friendship with Kacchan was ruined over something so stupid, and so he forfeits the pageant. Izuku honestly just really wants his best friend back. Which means Katsuki ends up winning.... but of course KACCHAN IS STILL UNHAPPY with his victory. Much like in the beginning, Katsuki barrels into izuku's room, this time the eggs are now lil adorable dragons, and he yells at Deku for "giving him that pity victory and not giving the middle finger to all of those discriminatory dragon assholes" Izuku explains everything and they talk it out before eventually becoming friends again (in the bg their dragons are shaking their heads at how stupid their owners are and how they had to sit front seats to the shitshow that is their friendship lmao)

In the end, they say fuck the pageant and izuku runs his vet dragon clinic and katsuki runs an dragon adoption center/dragon egg daycare. He makes sure to beat up anyone who doesnt meet his standards for adoption and gives any injured abused dragon he finds to izuku to take care of. The End (*^▽^*)

SIDE STORY (why izuku is shoto's favorite):

Endeavor: OI OI OI IS THAT MY RUNAWAY!! SHOOOTO!!!!

Izuku: ...no? (literally has Shoto sitting on his hair hissing at Endeavor)

Endeavor: You've stolen my DRAGON??!

Izuku: Dragon? :)

Endeavor: YES! THATS MY DRAGON!!?! >:0

Izuku: DRAGON DEEZ NUTS ACROSS YOUR FACE >:D

Endeavor is so utterly humiliated and in order to save himself from this migraine inducing boy, he simply lets him go. Shoto is pleased by this victory.

We are back! idk if i conveyed this chapter right, but on we go progressing the plot!

Side note: so i always headcanoned Anya to be quite emotionally inept and have anger issues?? i mean have you seen what she had to grow up: the unemotional scientists, her naïve mother, emotionally constipated father, her obsessive uncle, ect. Not to mention, with her mind reading, shes constantly aware that people dont act on their emotions and never seem to mean what they want combined with her knowledge that her father/mother had secret jobs that required fighting to solve the world's fights, she has a warped sense of reality. So even with the amount of therapy the Blackbells send her to, she cant exactly explain everything without revealing her mind reading and her parents secrets causing a lot of her mental issues to go unchecked. So i want to clarify that yes, Anya may seem a lil unstable and prone to fists, but she means well and I will be delving with how shes been dealing with everything mentally. That being said, I'm not an expert on mental issues and childhood trauma, so I'm sorry if im not able to convey it correctly or if reactions seem too extreme. This whole comic is mostly a fun lil side project where i can play around with comics and the SXF world.

SIDE side note: honestly ik it still looks more like a bomb than a camera not to mention do the angles even line up to take those photos??? idk i really dont like this part simply for that plothole but i had it in my notes and its too late to change it lmao

The Devil of Death and his Delinquent

spawned from the my probably exaggerated memory of Karma being the only person in AC to truly be fearful of Nagisa's bloodlust and killing instinct like i feel like most people were like 'nagi is a great friend :D wait he practically mastered every assassin killing technique... good for him but hes still our short king :D' meanwhile i feel like karma is in the back like 'yall be seeing this?? yall think this is normal??'

so in this au karma is being haunted by demon!nagisa and everytime he tries to get him exorcised or purified, either they dont believe him because he has a delinquent reputation and think hes trying to come up with an excuse for all the bad stuff happening or the priest/psychic meet nagisa and dont actually believe hes a demon

main roles: karma as a tired bitch, nagisa as happy to be here demon, nakamura as psychic best friend, the asanos as disbelieving priests, sugino/kanzaki/isogai as angels trying their best, kayano/maehara/fuwa as demons trying to have fun

Bonus: karma surprisingly finds a discord server dedicated to 'delinquents who have been haunted by demons but no one believes them' where he meets terasaka who has the misfortune of being haunted by 4 demons (terasaka gang) that constantly possess him and make him go to every maid café in japan

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!! This isnt exactly "romantic" but its based on one of my favorite paintings (The Lady of Shalott) but the og story around it is somewhat based on love so there is that lmao

I more or less feel like the story fits Anya though. So the TDLR is that a Lady is confined to a tower and cursed and then by trying to escape she ends up still coming to a tragic fate. And so Anya is a girl who was trapped in a experiment facility and she wishes to experience the real life world but shes 'cursed' with her mind reading abilities and that 'curse' ultimately makes her she read Loid's mind and now shes caught up in all this spy stuff and the friend mission which is probably gonna accumulate to the tragic end of the forger family separating and possibly loosing her friends due to all these secrets and dangers.

Hello just wanna ask, Do you think that damian's parents are in an arranged marriage? it feels like it when you read the new chapter of the manga.

Ok imma be real i havent actually "read" the newest chapters yet. I enjoy reading them in big chunks/arcs to fully immerse myself and so i dont forget details, but i dont mind spoilers strangely sooo b/c of this i let myself see spoilers on the TL and i heard some stuff from my friends about the red circus arc. So my thoughts based on my limited knowledge (up to the Friendship Scheme Arc) on Damian's parents:

THEY SUCK and if they are in an arranged marriage then honestly i feel like that would make a lot of sense to show a foil/connection to Anya's family. I hope im explaining this correctly but its like the Forger family isn't perfect but theyre kinda 'fantastical' in a sense that they all got together somehow by 'fate' and they are all leaning towards a 'found family learning how to love' kinda vibe, while the Desmonds are built by the harsh reality of life's obligation and everyday they realize how much it sucks. They got together probably out of expectation and politics and everyday the bitterness and disappointment for each other hits a little harder. Maybe im projecting too hard, but i feel its like the Forgers show an ideal of what everyone wants (eating the table with home cooked meals and parents who actively take part in helping your education) while the Desmonds show the bitter truth of most families (unrealistic high standards to live up to without any help from parents and not being able to grow as your own person because your being forced to be your parents second chance of living) aka found family vs forced family. So even whether its contractually obligated, i do believe their marriage at least came from a social obligation, especially being a woman in that time period.

I mean thats part of the reason Yor agreed to be with Loid right, to keep suspicion off of her as a single woman. I do think Melinda wasn't ready/didn't want to be a mom/wife and desperately wanted a free life, but as a woman of her status she was expected to marry wealthy and become a housewife obedient to her husband's wishes. It didnt help her that her husband was this big powerful political man, she probably couldn't complain to anyone without it reaching his ears. I don't think Donovan lets her have much control over the parenting department despite not having any interest in it himself. Like Damian, I imagine that Demetrius also lived in the dorm rooms away from Melinda and forced to study. And seeing how stripped of freedom she got in regards to Demetrius, Melinda didn't want to give birth to another child for years explaining the big age gap between the brothers and her distaste for Damian or maybe she did have more kids and maybe they were girls and maybe Donovan saw no use in having daughters and sent them away to some "facility" for better use and Melinda is now scared of what her husband is capable of...

Either way, it definitely seems like an unwanted unhappy marriage :(

A fellow assclasser I see. It's been a year for me but everyday I think about Shiro's treatment of Itona, and the Assclass being known worldwide as the ones who killed their beloved teacher and Koro's death in general and I weep

yea i think all the kids are rather fucked unfortunately. Because all of them had some sort of sad backstory and trauma and instead of getting help, they were lumped into a raggedy old class and ostracized. And despite all the healing Koro did, nothing can be fixed in just 1 year. ;_;

But at least the class has eachother now!!
