I like to play Bioshock level by level, last night we finished Arcadia and gotta say I think it’s my favourite Rapture location. As someone who loves gardens and aquariums it’s a stellar combo. Plus there’s so many hidey holes in that level!! I love a hidey hole! Wish Julie got to hang around a bit longer though.

Charles Porter Headcanons

Takes his coffee with no sugar, just cream. 

Before the war, he was perfectly content to do his calculations in absolute silence, broken only by the scratching of pencils and the punch of computer keys. After losing Pearl, the quiet makes him uneasy, and he needs at least white noise if not jazz playing in the background.

Whenever he’s in a good mood, he has a soft smile and walks around humming. Pearl thought it was the cutest thing, and particularly loved when he hummed Rhapsody in Blue for her.  

Stan Poole Headcanons

Stinky awful bastard man

Eats way too much junk food. It’s not that he’s too poor for proper food, as his paycheck from the Rapture Tribune isn’t anything to sneeze at. He simply has a sweet tooth and a love for all things greasy, and is too impatient to cook himself meals properly.

A bit of a suck-up. Because of this, most professionals don’t have patience for his simpering and he’s usually only invited to functions for formalities’ sake.

Is a frequent customer to Cupid’s Arrow, the adult entertainment store seen in Burial at Sea, episode 2. Not only is he there to buy nudie magazines, but also to stock up on the Peeping Tom plasmid, which he made good use of before the war as a reporter.
