I imagine that a few people feel a sympathy for Rand suddenly having to grapple with being the literal Chosen One but Egwene and Nyaneave and Moraine are all infuriating because they just withhold information and act like jerks for reasons that only make sense in the story and not in common sense. I’m glad this at least does sort itself out.
i finished eye if the world and let me get a few things off my chest:
- egwene reacting to rand being an aes sedai is so cringe and ordinary. this guy literally obliterated the dark one and shes like patting him on the back and never talking about it again
- moiraine eavesdropping at the end and whispering to herself that the dragon is reborn like....why not share that with rand the wheel will weave anyway i dont get it whats with all this fuss. he went up against the devil and beat him and moiraine is finally getting it like no shit sherlock
- i love rand so much but youre male, an aes sedai, and you beat (kind of) the dark one and you STILL dont think youre the dragon oh my god hes so dense
- perrins wolfsona is so funny and cringe to me i cant even begin to explain. the way he growls. every time i read that phrase i laugh and cant take him seriously. love the eyes though
- overall i think the most sensible character is rand but after him nynaeve. she annoyed me at first because she wanted them to get back to two rivers so badly but now shes seen the light and her Thing with lan is sweet
- egwene is so annoying i cannot i just want her to be trolloc food and go away. shes so useless and a pain. no matter what she does i will never like her. im not knowledgable with the fandoms take on her but im hoping people hate her shes so ugh ew yuck
overall good book will read the next ones. just after some other books!
