what if you saw Biden rip out someone's throat with his teeth and tear into their flesh live at a press conference and everyone acted like it was normal. like you try bringing it up to people and they just say "oh yeah, that sure happened haha" and then moved on with the conversation. and every time you see news about America all you can see is Biden staring into the camera with red teeth and wild eyes. and people aren't denying that it happened, so you clearly didn't hallucinate it, but no one cares. no one cares that the president killed and ate a man live on the news with his hands and teeth. you try to forget, to move on like everyone else clearly has, but you can't. you know what you saw. you saw him crawl across the podium, far more agile than anyone on all fours should ever be. you saw him raise his head, chin still trailing gore as he swallowed, throat moving to force the raw human meat down his gullet. and it was normal.

Deer-Skull Diaries: Entry #1

I didn’t add a title to my last post or do any tags. I don’t really understand how to do this. What should the titles be? I guess I’ll just make it like a diary? That’s kind of what this is. Whatever, the title isn’t that important. I doubt anyone is going to read this anyway.  Maybe I should explain my username? It isn’t that deep. I made this Tumblr years ago and I couldn’t come up with what my name should be. I really like how deer skulls look, hopefully that doesn’t should too weird. I’m not the only one, there is this whole community of people who like them! Hell, there is a taxidermy community on this website so it isn’t that weird. 

I don’t like hunting or anything like that. The idea of killing a deer doesn’t appeal to me, something that makes me stand out in my town. Hunting is a huge thing here and deer are the poor victims. Maybe they shouldn’t have babies as quickly as they do. Still, I watched Bambi and now I can’t even think about going hunting with my dad. 

I can fish at least, though that isn’t a huge talent. I haven’t gone in a long time, my dad likes to take my brothers instead. I’m not going to complain, I still don’t like it that much. It’s all too gross and slimy, whether it be the worms or the fish. 

I got off topic. The name comes from those pictures, you know the ones I’m talking about, the girls with the deer skull heads? They are like the TV head thing that was popular for some time. I never got the TV ones but I like some of the other object heads. Is that how Sirenhead came to be? 

I am pretty interested in cryptids, or at least the aesthetic around them. I don’t believe in them, obviously, who does, but I like the little community. I really like how some people made Moth Man hot. That’s funny lol, get us to simp for a dude with wings. 

I just looked it up and apparently the community I’m talking about is Cryptidcore? I know about Cottagecore, the one where girls like to get all pretty and press flowers and act like they are the best housewife. Some really like mushrooms, I like those accounts. They feel real, some of the other pics and stuff just feel like aesthetic for aesthetic sake. 

I don’t like conspiracy theories, that’s one of the parts that I don’t like in Cryptidcore. Ghost stuff just annoys me, I don’t believe in any of that crap. Maybe there are aliens out there but they sure as well don’t want to come and visit us. Who would? None of that dumb stuff. I don’t get how people can really believe that. Like, those ghost streams of the haunted dolls? Those make me so annoyed! Nothing is gonna happen and if it does, you obviously did something! 

It shouldn’t bother me as much as it does. I just get so annoyed when I try to talk to someone about cool monsters and they start bringing up how the aliens live in Area 51. Come on, can’t we just talk about how cryptids are like the modern American mythology? Maybe I can write a paper about that...I really like folklore and it’s what I want to major in during college, like the anthropology of it? That’s the technical term. 

Right now I’m taking a gap year to give my brain time to rest. No need to graduate highschool and immediately go to the stress of going to college. So, I’m gonna work and save up my money so I’ll be ready when I do want to go to college. I don’t want to work at a gas station all my life. 

I have my first night shift on Sunday, the lord’s day. I’m not religious BTW. Lets get that straight. Either way, I probably will try to write something to let you guys know how it went. I can look at this later and remember when I was a baby just graduating highschool. 

I’m gonna fix up my little description thing, make my profile look at bit neater. Does anyone want to give me some tips on how to make this look nicer? I might as well do this whole Tumblr thing right.

So.....I don't really know why I'm doing this but I saw that one account who talked about their job experience and thought it might be fun. This is my first job anyway, other than babysitting, I guess. Does that count?

Anyway, I just got a job at this like, Mom and Pop store? It really is just a gas station with some snacks. it isn't one of those bigger companies like Sheetz or Wawa. I obviously don't want give the name because, you know, creeps, so let's just call it Pop's. I've only worked one shift and that was during the day. They want to put me on the night shift.

Isn't that weird? I mean, putting an young girl as your graveyard shift? It's like they want me to get stabbed! Maybe I'll be on one of those shows like Dateline. My ten minutes of Fame will be my murder, yay!

Anyway, my dad knows the owner who is this really old guy. They said they were having a hard time getting people to work because they couldn't offer good pay. My dad said I could work there so thanks dad! I get minimum wage at least, plus I can eat or drink anything I want while I'm there. Guess that's a plus.

They want me to work 10 until 7 in the morning. I don't really get a break like others but they said a lot of my shift will be uneventful. I have a break shift with small interruptions basically. That's cool at least. I can watch some TV or something to pass the time by.

Ah, crap. I didn't give my name...You can call me Sam. That's the name of my stuffed bear, real creative for a kid, right? Those videos I would watch in highschool taught me well, I'm not gonna give my real name. Nickname it is. But does that really matter? I mean, a lot of people just use their usernames on here anyway.

I thought it might be fun to do this! Maybe I'll make some friends. I don't really know how I'll be posting or how this works...I think this is a learn as I go kind of thing.

I gotta go, Mom is calling me to help with dinner. The pains of being the oldest daughter lol.

This one is called “The Unseen”.

It’s an old comic from The Secret Knots archives, only now I gave it a tumblr-friendlier format and fixed a couple of little things here and there. I made it in a sad time, a story I told myself to make me feel better and I think it worked.
