TREKMATCH! # 673 - DS9's "Profit and Lace" vs 2011's Bag of Bones
BAG OF BONES
An author's wife dies suddenly and then his agent, at the funeral of all places, is like "I know you're sad, but your wife would want you to get me a draft of a new novel in two months." Um, time to find a new agent pal! But he goes for it in a cabin his wife owned in rural (I don't have to say Maine at this point I'm sure). When he starts having supernatural experiences he figures it's his wife's ghost, which would be cool, but maybe it's a curse ghost instead, which is less cool. It's too long because it was one a those two part TV dealies, but it's mainly fine. Ha, Mainely fine, ha ha, ha, ha.
STAR TREK: DEEP SPACE NINE - "Profit and Lace"
Grand Nagus Zek passes a law that lets Ferengi women wear clothes and do business, but then he gets deposed as a result. Because he's dating Quark's mom, it's up to Quark to host a one final shot meeting where the head of a Ferengi soda company can see Quark's mom is good at business. Well, she has a stroke or something so it's up to Quark to pretend to be a woman to woo the dude. It's real sexist!
Victory to Black Widow, so Trek is up 339-334!
Stephen King is down to Trek 22-29
