Eurydice listened and gave a small nod. Forcing away someone's memories, magical or not, always had consequences. And she definitely didn't want him danger. "I understand." Like she said, it helped some, didn't help others. And it had to be up to them to decide.

"I'll get you some. She'd be happy to make you a batch." She smiled softly. "Fleur is very good at helping people. If she wasn't a fairy, I'd believe she was an angel or something."

Quentin looked at Eurydice. "When I was little...when everything happened with Freddy. Our parents basically gaslit us all into forgetting. So I don't know if I'd want that again. He was upset that we forgot. I don't want to give him a reason to come back." He explained.

"But I would be interested in something that could help. Maybe something for dreamless sleep. That tea sounds like it might be just the thing."

i think about god of war era icarus a lot. he was away from his family for like roughly 9 months, longer in some universes. for about 5 months of that, he was dead. but for 4 months, he was alive more or less being the literal god of war. trying to make it a deity people didn't have to be scared of, but rather someone that would protect them.

He chuckled at his comment about Ivy and her sleeping. "She can sleep anywhere. It's a gift really. Cars, planes, diners." Mattie grinned. "You should have heard her the first time you guys talked. Told me all about how your brought her new fries cause hers got cold while she slept."

Winters were fine for her, the water temperatures didn't affect her much and the lake never truly froze so she could still swim -- getting warm after the fact was not so pleasant being practically cold blooded. She sighed softly in his returned touch. "And I am ever grateful for yours. You're a true friend, Ominis." The hand holding his gave a gentle squeeze. "The only name that matters to me is Ominis."

"I doubt anything could be colder than the Scottish winter." Ominis teased back. He normally felt winter coming before most even when he'd never laid eyes on snow or the like. A hand came up to rest on Marnie's for a moment, appreciate the affections being given to him. "I'm ever grateful for your company Marnie." the Slytherin muttered quietly for only her to hear. "And that you do not wish to avoid me due to my family name." Others in this school didn't seem to realise that he was blind not deaf, and could absolutely hear the things they whispered about him.
