that 1 time I was playing ff7 and I was barely learning English, and the inn owner was like "your party is waiting upstairs." and silly me imagined an actual party, I mean, it's what I deserved after defeating this enemy, but no. I walk right in there and everyone is quiet and depressed. It was only until much later on, that I found out that party also means "group" 🙃

I'm just gonna come out and say it (almost), but I just don't see the chemistry between these two characters. The dialog is fine and all, but like... things felt a bit rushed and that extra factor that makes you scream at the screen wasn't there for me.

We took the drunk train home.

They were all absolutely infatuated with him and whispering about how much they wanted to pet him and then shushing each other saying “no that’s rude you can’t! just leave him alone!” so I told them they can pet him if they want and they were absolutely overwhelmed with happiness, while simultaneously being very concerned for his well-being, continually asking if I was very sure that it was okay and that I should please please tell them if I need them to leave him alone.

Basically, it was a great ending to a VERY long day. Sometimes people are really great.
