No OP you don’t understand I am never going to get over this art you made because I have carved this piece into a blockprint to wear it as a t-shirt and the Persian Boy is one of my favorite books. I love you for this OP. I will never forget you.

You can buy it here. :)

‘You must tell me when I say the Persian wrongly. Don’t be afraid to correct me, or I shall never learn.’
I said I had thought he would never love me. I did not beg him to take me with him wherever he was going; I did not think so far. I was like a traveler in the desert, who comes to water.

i do think theres something sad about how largely only the literature that's considered especially good or important is intentionally preserved. i want to read stuff that ancient people thought sucked enormous balls

A painted terracotta figurine of a barber cutting a man's hair, made in Boeotia, Greece, ca. 500 BCE. Greek men would regularly visit the barber -- known as a cureus -- in the agora, or central marketplace, of Greek towns to get their hair and beards trimmed.

This year for Pride I decided to rank some heroes from Greek Mythology by thickness, so we have Herakles, Odysseus, Theseus, Achilles, Jason, and Perseus ranked in order from beefcake to twink.

dude you should have been at the club last night it was insane. the dj was playing the lament and funeral of hector from the iliad and everyone was beating their breasts and tearing open their garments. at the end we all built up a funeral pyre in the middle of the dance floor and set it aflame. we were all feeling the inherent human connection through millennia old poetry, it was wild
