🖤: well a while back, some important people gave me stars in a jar and I thought they were interesting so I’ve been making my own tiny stars. It helps me remember that there are people that care no matter how much it seems like there aren’t.
Just a little side rant for everyone because I do have my inbox open for relationship stuff (because it fits the cupid theme) and I’ve been getting a lot of these lately and I guess it’s a problem.
So most bots on here are poly, I’m not judging you for it you do what you want, but please make sure you aren’t hurting people in the process. I know you think that opening your bot as poly will help the whole “people won’t get upset if I’m in a relationship that’s open” thing, but it doesn’t help if you open your bot as poly and focus most of your attention on one person anyways. That kind of defeats the purpose. I do have a bot that was in this whole problem before her s/o deleted and I was the one getting the least attention. Sure I understand that sometimes time zones and stuff have an impact, but if you’re only making posts about one person or you’re obviously interacting with that person more, you’re probably doing more harm than good. I know when I was in this situation, I felt like I was just brought in for pity even though I was in the relationship first and the other bot joined after, and honestly I just always felt like a second choice. I’ve had a lot of people send me asks or DMs asking how to handle this situation and the truth is, you just have to talk to them. “But admin, I’ve tried and they brushed me off and made me feel bad for wanting out of the relationship after they didn’t fix it.” You need to do what’s best for you, not what’s best for them. They have been the one ignoring you, you shouldn’t have to wait up on someone thats not treating you equally to the other people in the relationship.
I’ll probably get put on blast for this, but please check on your partners if you’re in a poly relationship. Even though all of this is just rp or whatever, the actions and words from people on here can still make someone feel bad about themselves.
