That was her, bright eyes, and at the familiar pet name, Chloe can't help but scoff. She never did like it, but in the end, it had stuck.
"Y'know," Shrugging, Chloe orders another beer for her, before turning to face him once again. "The usual."
Which meant work and celebratory drinks after Chloe was done with said work. Things that came with the job, small pleasures.
And, beer in her hand, she continued. "Been a while, hasn't it, mate?"

Shouts, fights, laziness between men. Only men. It was a good local, not for the people tho, a 60's style actually.
The people who were there weren't really making the local looking fine...
Last night, a guy died hit by a car, he was drunk. No one really cares if you get really drunk and risk your life.
But hey! Charlie was still alive, isn't him?
But, after all these things, Charlie was still loyal to this local... Drinks are perfect, this is why no one leaves sober there. It was a miracle Charlie leaves sober too.
Anyway, this is how he passed his nights...
He doesn't even know how to spend his last money, though all the tax he has to pay to.
No more adventures, no more treasures that were worth for. He has to find a job, a real job... Which really took him down. He never imagined he would arrive to an end like this...

It's routine at this point of her life. Drive people in, drive people out, leave with money in her pocket.
It goes well, and it's enough for a celebratory drink, and Chloe doesn't think twice before driving herself and her lads to the nearest pub.
Truth be told, being in London or not, Chloe doesn't expect to see him. At least, not tonight, not with other, slightly more important things going through her mind.
Approaching him, Chloe makes it in time to hear his order. Whiskey, neat, and at that, she places her hand on the small of his back and leans close to his personal space. Way too personal to be comfortable, even, hadn't it been Charlie.
At this point, both of them are used to dancing around each other.
"Hm," Musing, she said. "Never thought you were a whiskey sorta guy."
She doesn't mean to surprise or startle him. Truly.
