I have been looking for a A/B/O destiel fic everywhere and I can no longer find it. It was a fic where Cas was an Omega in a village and Dean was a royal. He came and chose Cas as his husband and Cas went and lived at the castle with him. Cas was very naive and a virgin and Dean had to help him unlearn a lot of ideas about what an Omega is supposed to be like. I vaguely remember a scene where they go stay in town together and a bunch of ladies baking bread try and explain sex to Cas. Thanks!

The other Cas is blind and has a service dog and meets Dean in the street, the other angels are his protective older siblings. Both are human AUs. If Destiel Was a Movie. It is a truth universally acknowledged that every hetero rom com could be vastly improved by turning it into a queer love story. Over the years we have been often asked to find a destiel fic based on a popular book or a movie. And we get it! There’s something magical about combining two of your favorite things, right? Thus we have recced quite a few fusion fics and we keep them on our Crossover tag. Three years ago destiel shippers threw Dean and Castiel a wedding which was celebrated both on the Hellsite (affectionate) and the Hellsite (derogatory). hi guys! this has probably already been asked before but wanted to try anyway in case you have more recommendations. I hated the fact that cas wasn’t in the 200th episode. so i was wondering if you had recs of cas actually joining them and finding out about destiel and fanfiction and meeting the kids and all of that good stuff and i generally just love case fics so. I tried looking through the tags here, tried searching as well believe me but its extremely difficult when the title of the episode is literally “fanfiction” and it basically just shows me destiel fanfic lol anyway, thank you!

I hear you! Our hearts where broken when we learned via Twitter that both, Cas and Misha Collins, will not take part in this particular episode. After the episode aired, there were a lot of posts that discussed how much better the episode would be with Cas in it. Alas. a quick look through our #season 10 , #tfw and fandom and #case fic tags shows that there’s no such fic asked about or recced. Before this episode came around, Dean, Sam and Cas were mostly reading The Winchester Gospels.

The Fourth Wall by entangled_now  - A fandom classic really. Posted in 2009/10, this series unashamedly dived into popular fanfic tropes and the bewildered TFW reaction to them.

Revenge of the Subtext by mittenwraith - This DCBB 2015 fic was posted only one year after the episode aired and it takes Dean and Cas on a journey of a lifetime through fandom meta and SPN convention.

Trope Springs Eternal by violethaze - A fun, cheeky fic about Dean and Cas literally living through the most popular destiel fic tropes. 

Tumblr Famous by ghostalservice (plantainleaf)  - What it says on the thin! Previously recced on our post about TFW reading and dealing with Chuck’s Gospels and fanfics spawned by them.

Dean and Sam tell Cas about the Supernatural musical. Cas finds out more than Dean bargained for.

Try as he might, Dean can’t stop thinking about how close the play-Cas stood to the play-Dean, the way that Cas had looked at that Dean and the way that Dean had looked right back, the things that Cas did for that Dean. And suddenly he’s looking back at all the interactions between himself and a certain actual angel, how close Cas stands when he forgets he’s not supposed to, the way he looks up at Dean without blinking with that sincere, sure expression on his face. How he himself looks right back at Cas, how his eyes always take inventory of the pout of Cas’ soft lips, the breadth of his shoulders, his fingers under the hem of his coat sleeve.

Dean is having a little bit of a crisis after seeing the musical at St Alphonso’s. Short of talking to Sam–which is not going to happen–or Charlie–who is currently in Oz and therefore kind of hard to get in touch with–the high school fangirl who knows his story back to front is kind of the only other option he’s got.

The ao3 of knowledge by fellshish [T, 2,400 word count] #humor, there’s only one bed

Cas reads destiel fics and thinks: hmm maybe I should take this fic author’s love advice and tell Dean that the handprint means he’s ‘angel married’ to me now. This is an excellent plan that cannot go wrong.
