ask for ghost requests and ye shall receive! you've mentioned before that he's got poetic leanings, so maybe him trying to write a poem/make some other piece of art for his beloved master, and them praising his efforts when they see it?

When Ghost makes the poem for you, he's fully expecting to go ignored. As much as he loves the idea of putting pretty words together for you, there's no way Master would ever appreciate something like that from him. Even so, he puts all of his efforts into it. You might throw it away, in the end, but it'll still be something he did his best on, all to show you how grateful he is for every kind thing you do for him. The poem turns out to be a lot more loving than he expected. It sounds all kinds of embarrassing to give something like that to you, but Ghost comforts himself with the reminder that there's no way you'll look too closely.

But then, he's giving you the poem that he worked so hard on... and you're reading over every word with care. As it dawns on him that you're taking this seriously, Ghost is now ready to combust with embarrassment. Or run and hide so he doesn't have to face you after you read his most genuine feelings. He'll stutter out that he's sure the poem is no good, but all too soon, you're praising him for it, and he's covering his face because this is really, really too much. You like it. You actually like it, and he's dying.
