IM GONNA SAY IT AGAIN: WHEN WOMEN ARE PUNISHED MORE SEVERELY FOR "FALSE ALLEGATIONS" THAN MEN ARE PUNISHED FOR RAPE, THOSE ARENT FALSE ALLEGATIONS, THOSE ARE WOMEN BEING BLACKMAILED AND TORTURED BY POLICE TO PROTECT MEN FROM THE CONSEQUENCES OF THEIR OWN ACTIONS. COPS WHO PROSECUTE FALSE ALLEGATION CHARGES ARE RAPSISTS PROTECTING THEMSELVES AND OTHER MEN.

Was the Barbie movie radical? No. There was nothing “anti-man” about it, in fact it was incredibly kind to men. That, however, has not stopped them from pretending like it straight up unironically advocated for a male genocide. For example:
Tumblr media
Maybe this is wishful thinking, but I firmly believe that the absolute hysteria from so many men that has occurred since its release could make at least a few more women realize that male socialization is not a myth and feminism is absolutely necessary for our survival. Like.. A movie about a toy marketed toward little girls not catering 100% to men is enough to make them go full mask off and advocate for the 19th amendment to be repealed. That’s how insane they’re being about this. Their reaction to this movie is a great example of what feminists mean when we say that males are socialized to believe the world must cater to them and their interests alone, and nothing makes them more mad than when a woman tries to challenge that. I just really hope women are paying attention to this and digging deeper into why they’re behaving this way.

It's more like;
Women to men: you are loved, you are valued, you deserve hugs and to be able to cry :)
Men to women: you are sexy, you are fuckable, you deserve a porn category and to be able to sell you body :)

I saw Barbie and didn’t hate it, enjoyed some parts immensely, but
THE KENS HAD ARMPIT HAIR. Why Greta ??? . Literally give me 1(one) reason why the male actors weren’t required to shave their armpits. They are playing plastic DOLLS. AND they wear little shorty shorts and do humiliating things because it’s supposed to kind of reflect how men treat women . At the very very very very very least they all should have been hairless aside from their heads. And honestly I would have glued down their head hair a bit more if I were in charge of HMU but anyways
of course the Barbies didn’t have armpit hair ! but of course not - Barbies don’t have armpit hair and neither do we expect to see adult women in film with armpit hair. BUT WHY NOT TAKE IT OFF THE KEN DOLLS?????

saying women are naturally more nurturing and kind and even more ethical is still misogyny, even if those are considered “good traits.” for women to be truly liberated you really have to accept that there’s no such thing as brain sex or natural sex-based personalities/values/behaviour. only bodies, which are only different for reproductive capabilities. not for male power.
you have to accept that females can be evil, murderous and mean. you have to accept that we are associated with being nurturing and kind because that’s how we are socialised to be and, because socialisation is so subliminal and successful, many women reflect the intended results of the socialisation process. but it doesn’t make it more natural. kids raised by wolves will reflect wolf-like behaviour, but it doesn’t mean humans are naturally wolves.

Daily reminder that gender non conformity is default for women. Gender is a social construct, and the social constructs for women are restrictive and invasive.
You are normal. It is OK to reject femininity. It does not make you less of a woman, because what makes you a woman is not femininity. It is simply a matter of being a female human.
I wish you the best in your journey of making peace with your body. It is a common struggle of womanhood. You are not alone ❤

suffragette advice from 1918. “don’t date men” is something feminists have been saying for over a hundred years now.

no hate to the creator but this is legitimately the worst video I’ve ever seen on this subject and it’s so scary that this has so many views and so many people in the comments agreeing. literally just 30 straight minutes of guilting women who put their abusers in prison bc of how bad the prison system is - zero mention of the horrific conditions of incarcerated women, just entirely about how we need to have more grace for abusers. the left is cooked

the whole commenting that men do when talking about a foreign country is annoying : “ their women are beautiful” “ x country has the most beautiful women in the world”.
Like all of this might seem innocent and lighthearted at the surface but it really shows that men see women as tourists attractions and objects/resources that belong to a nation ( another group of men). They’ll list all these defining cultural aspects of a country and places for sightseeing and then BOOM, the inevitable “ beautiful women” comment because they can’t restrain themselves from reminding everyone and themselves that women are meant to be LOOKED at.
And then you’ll see the casual debates and compliments that men have with each other over women that’s extremely nauseating. The entitlement that men have in thinking that women first and foremost for their own gratification makes me see red I’m sick and tired of men.
