The founders are setting up protection spells around the grounds to ensure that should any Muggles come across the school, they won’t see it as a castle, but instead a run-down hovel of a shed that no-one in their right mind would want to enter. It’s taken the better half of the day along with taking care of the students.

I like the humor of James beefing up for Quidditch and not fitting in Sirius’s clothes, but tbh I think that they’re the same size. One of them starts to get bigger? The other one grows at exactly the same rate. If Sirius got a growth spurt as a teenager, James would get one at the same time. The universe knows that they need to match and is keeping an eye on it
