and it makes no sense to kill him at this point in the story

1. he mentioned some man who was equal to dazai in giving him grief. I'm not a fyodor scholar but this is the first time we get any mention of his past (apart from the insinuation that dazai and fyodor have a history)

2. we still don't know his ability. although this info can be revealed later through sigma (who's also not dead come on)

3. we don't have a clear picture about his motives (can be revealed through sigma but that'd be poor writing imo bc fyodor can't be divorced from his goal. his whole life revolves around that)

4. nikolai's reaction to fyodor's death and the loss of his new game seemed too subdued imo. he just lost his best friend/mortal enemy/only aim in life

5. fyodor's last words "eli eli lama sabachthani" (God why have you forsaken me) was Jesus's last words. He was resurrected 3 days later so

unless asagiri finds a way to satisfyingly answer these questions through flashbacks or sigma, fyodor dostoevsky will be back trust

I'm so so glad dazai's alive but did anyone else feel the 'chuuya was never a vampire' reveal was extremely anticlimactic? I feel it'd have been so much more interesting if dazai nullified the vampirism through the gun, calling back to their strategy in 15, and his corny speech was some kind of code that chuuya picked up and went along with
