Hi. My question is related to Gin, do you think that he will be in the Wano saga with Lado? I ask because theories make me hope that it is.

To be honest, I’m 98% sure he won’t be there, but I will be the first to roll on the floor and scream if he ever shows his face in the manga again :’( He did promise to meet Luffy again on the Grand Line, after all... Some people theorize that he died after the Baratie arc, but I don’t think he did. However, his character arc, just like Sanji’s, was about self-sacrifice, gratitude, unhealthy loyalty and living a life without regrets. If we consider everything he said about life and death during the Baratie arc, I guess that, in a way, it makes sense to let Gin be the cat in the box? (like Schrödinger’s cat, as long as we don’t open the box, he is simultaneously dead and alive) This could explain why he didn’t get any cover story. Now, if he really was dead, that would completely destroy Sanji (because that would mean he died to save Sanji’s life). I’m torn... .... At least, he makes a few appareances in One Piece Academy/Gakuen (spin-off series).
