The only thing I don’t agree with on this entire post is that the denial of male DV/rape is invisible because it doesn’t fit the “status quo of this website”, but I would argue that the denial is largely in part because male DV/Rape doesn’t fit within a patriarchal framework. Fuck Patriarchy! May all survivors heal ♥️ I love you and you have a friend in me!!
Just an experiment. Reblog if you actually give a fuck about male victims of domestic violence and rape.
Of fucking course
What sick bastard doesn’t

“We don’t forgive, we don’t forget”
On September 6, 2020 feminist activists broke into the office of the director of the national commission on human rights in Mexico City. The action was taken in protest against a state that does nothing to prevent the killing and rape of girls and women in Mexico

Hi Guys!
I have been fairly inactive on this page and it sucks! I’m hopping on here today hoping this reaches anybody and everybody! I want to help the movement in my city by creating a team that will help build shields and distribute protective gear. Essentially, I am looking for donations to buy supplies to build shields and to buy helmets, goggles, and gas masks/ respirators. If you or anyone you know can help donate, please do so to our cash app: $TPAResistance

I only have a handful of followers whom I’m sure haven’t even noticed my absence, but I wish to explain it anyways.
I have been actively sharing information on current events both on my Facebook page and Instagram, but have abandoned my tumblr. I originally had plan to dedicate this space to movies, shows and books that I’d like to share my views on. Recent events have made it hard for me to sit around and write reviews.
I may begin to post more frequently on this platform to express my experience as an active protester and other thoughts correlated to current events. 🤷🏽‍♀️ I think I’ll do this more for me than for an audience, but for whoever is listening .. this is my message.
Black Lives Matter.
Black Dreams Matter.
Black Education Matter.
Black Art Matter.
Black Culture Matter.
Stronger Together. ✊🏽

I’ve been meaning to update my account, but with the growing protests and fight for justice, watching movies has been hard to enjoy when my black brothers and sisters need us right now!
I hope everyone joining the protests are staying safe on the streets! Thank you for standing up in Solidarity!! If you feel uncomfortable at a protest, know that there are other ways to voice your opinion. Stay active in your local community and government. Go out and vote! Join non-profit organizations fighting for change. Send a plethora of correspondence to your congressmen. Make your voice heard! And I mean really heard!
....P.S. FB is built on algorithms, so sharing posts on social media isn’t entirely effective..
GET OUT THERE AND BE THE CHANGE YOU WANT TO SEE!

Feed Updates...
I know no body really cares, but I’m trying to bring some variety to my profile, so I’ll try to add some film screenshots and quotes (from movies or books).  I want to include book and show reviews as well.  I also read up on how to write a proper film review, so I’m going to try to be more specific on what I do and don’t like about films I watch.  Please feel free to provide feedback, send recommendations or just stop by and say hello!  I welcome it all (:

Parks & Recreation (2009-2015)
Creator: Greg Daniels, Michael Schur Cast: Amy Poehler, Nick Offerman, Aubrey Plaza
If you’ve seen and loved The Office, then you will most likely love Parks and Recs.  They both were filmed in the same sort of documentary style.  This series showcased a lot of great talent and really put their names on the charts like Aubrey Plaza and Chris Pratt.  I love the diversity of the characters quirkiness!  Honestly, I believe the last season was kind of just thrown together and was honestly my least favorite of all the season.  It could have ended the season prior to that.  It was a much cleaner cut and well wrapped up.  Not sure what happened, but it is quite obvious the last season wasn’t all that well planned out.  Other than that, get your self a batch of J.J’s Waffles and enjoy this quirky TV series on Netflix.
Definitely recommend!

The Dummy (2002)
Director: Greg Pritikin Cast: Adrien Brody, Milla Jovovich, Illeana Douglas
A very down to earth, relatable film about a group of young adults trying to figure out life and trying to make something of themselves.  Each character in this film grows in confidence and maturity, which I really enjoyed.  It was quirky and the dummy itself was a great comedic addition.
