xenoblade x's online was weird. you have to go to a terminal to recruit other players into your party (scout), level up their scout level and get.... blade medals? which allow you to do one online mission per. online terminal was in the barracks at the very back. i remember the medal system only bc one time yggralith zero spawned and i had none so i had to grind medals to go kill it w my friends. i miss it :( but i think a wave of hackers literally killing the world bosses within an hour of them spawning killed everyone's motivation to actually play online, cuz Yggralith only spawned if ppl were doing the universal quests (another thing the game never explains, i had to look up a button combo just to see the details of them, they were the quests on the bottom right while in online mode, i think) and all of that work for essentially nothing turned into just... not doing em anymore. and then nobody played anymore :[

ohhhh there was a terminal... absolutely none of the forums we were looking at mentioned that at all LOL. I don't think I ever actually did the multiplayer myself, I would just join a squad to reap the benefits without contributing much. That's so tragic though...

me n admin L tried so hard to play some splatoon 1 together before the servers shut down but i kept having connection issues despite having played the game totally fine for the last few weeks. and being able to play splatoon 3 fine. so we were like well xbcx has online too doesnt it. and wouldnt you believe it neither of us can figure it out despite both of us having put Many hours into this game when it came out

turns out Zanza was actually perpetuating the cycle to periodically wipe out the nopon because he accidentally created an immortal creature but life just keeps finding a way

People have been wondering what's up with the mechanic nopon Riku, especially after we see him in the DLC that takes place 1000 years before the main game. We get confirmation that Riku is Riki's son, and that he lies all the time. We also learn that Nopon in 3 "don’t have a lifespan. They live forever."

Z is just Zanza but purple and more boring bc he shows up and is basically just THE SAME FREAKING MANIPULATIVE SHITHEAD hes even got his dumbass little followers, one of them a Big Mean Smartass Guy and an Evil Woman and hes like ooo u should join my club and if you don't he'll kill u so u kill him and free da world. even throws a baby fit cuz ur killing him and WHAT HOW COULD U DO THIS!! THE WORLD AS WE KNOW IT WILL EXPLOOODE WITHOUT ME!!! and then u win. hes literally just a less interesting zanza bc at least zanza had to set shit up and had that whole identity horror thing w shulk (which z copies by giving n one billion diseases) and shulk is an interesting character (i dont remember a single defining personality trait from noah. help. genuinely i cannot think of one. all i ever see abt noah is how much he loves mio or his paper flat chest people insist are "boobs")

im pretty sure noahs definibg personality trait was that he straight up just had no personality
