Four friends, Tino, Carver, Lor and Tish, spend each weekend exploring new levels of fun. Whether they're gearing up for a sports competition or just hanging out in their Southern California beach town, these inseparable pals help one another negotiate the many obstacles of preadolescence. The underlying theme of the series is friendship - its ups and downs, the compromises and sacrifices, and above all the sense of humor that it takes to keep four very different young people together.
ive always been an avid tino/tish shipper but reading this blog made me switch to tino/lor. i had never even thought of it before this. i have always thought carver and christie could have been so cute if they explored it though. i can never get over "you can call me pickle toes anytime you want baby"
So glad the blog made you consider an alternative! And yes, it's been years, and nobody has gotten over *this*
Can you please please please post the actual spot Tino found, too? That moment was so full of vindication it was insane.
LMFAO, I get that. It was a meaningful episode, nonetheless... still frustrating to see Tino's friends giving him such a hard time! Anyhow, I just posted the gifset! :)
I just recently learned that vernal equinox was last week! Can you post the GIF of Tino referring to it at the very beginning of the first episode (1b - Grow Up)? Oh, and the scene afterwards where Lor is asking Tino's mom for food? Thanks. :)
During the month of January 2017, you did outfit variations of the four main characters (and Tino's mom). If it's not too much trouble, could you state where each episode each variation is from?
Sure, no problem! This is going to be a long post, though lmao

It was a grounded show like “Recess” or “Fillmore!” devoid of crazy plots, but relatable and earnest. Of course, being relatable and earnest doesn't guarantee a lack of notes, and for [Doug] Langdale, the worst note was being told an episode wasn't funny ‘So you should add something dumb to it — like a monkey’. “I thought it was the dumbest note I'd ever gotten,” the creator said. “And they thought it was the dumbest note they'd ever given, but they still wanted to do it.” But Langdale didn't just add a monkey, he turned that note into a whole joke, taking inspiration from the infamous note given to “The Brady Bunch” that forced them to add a kid to the aging cast. Langdale had worked with Robbie Rist, who played Cousin Oliver in “The Brady Bunch,” and decided to add a layer of meta commentary on the monkey note by hiring Rist to play the monkey. “[He] was just like, 'So do you literally just want me to go ooh, ooh, ahh, ahh?' And I was like, 'Yep.' 'And the whole joke is, because I did this thing when I was a kid?' And I was like, 'Yeah, sorry.'”

my brother and I love the Weekenders! We still do inside jokes using quotes from the show xD For Christmas, I was thinking of making him a print shirt with Bree and Colby, could you make me a still of them that I could print on the shirt? That would be so amazing!! 😍 Greetings from Germany
Hey there! 😊 That is such a cool idea for a Christmas present! Is this a good choice for the T-Shirt? I think it's their best pic, I took it directly from one of the early episodes but please do let me know if you can use it. I hope I'm still in time!
I think Disney should make a second Weekenders show, with a season that shows Tino, Lor, Carver, and Tish as babies and a season that shows them as adults.

Well, the show's creator Doug Langdale once said that he'd be interested in the revival, so...
Hey! I just found your account and I'm a huge fan of the weekenders! I was wondering if you could make a compilation of all of Toni's "Sure!"'s at some point!
