“It Could Have Been Different - Part 1″

I have a whole series planned, and this is just a WIP, but I had to get it out of my head: what if Shuri had managed to broker a peace treaty between Wakanda and Talokan?  As you can see, both Queen Ramonda and Namor appear to have reservations, but trust me, it gets better.

This is how Wakanda Forever ended, right? 

This drawing really got away from me, but it’s finally DONE.  I knew that I didn’t have it in me to draw Namor in all of his Mesoamerican finery, so I cheated and got creative with Photoshop magic.  I also thought that Shuri’s outfit should be minimalist to provide a fun contrast, but of course, she’s wearing the jade jewelry that Namor had given her in Talokan.

And in a nod to Wakandan modesty, Namor actually put on some clothes a tunic.  It is his wedding day, after all.
