A little late update!

Sorry that I haven't been very active;; I'm still working on this AU, but I'm also studying animation! I'm working through the story a little piece at a time and working it out in my mind to a point were everything makes sense and will soon be starting on writing it out.

I'm also taking the time to take care of myself too. I recently lost my laptop and everything that was in the laptop bag, so the file that had Rose drawn in it was lost so RIP :'( but I'll be getting back to that pretty soon I think! Just working on a few other things as well.

I had a long internal debate on whether or not I should do full color or black and white for this, and eventually I decided on full color because I felt some of the scenes in the comic would work better that way.

Then I started coloring the background and regretted that decision. Took forever, because I basically did it twice, the first time trying to mimic the show’s backgrounds (that was taking too long) and the second time the way I normally do them.

But hey! She’s done bitches!

So uh, yeah, this comic will have a few minor difference from the fanfic but over all it’s a beat-for-beat recreation. As always, you can read up to Chapter 5 HERE.

Okay so, I adore Pink/Rose and it makes me sad that even Steven couldn’t see how hard she was trying. I get he doesn’t have the whole picture, but it breaks my heart the rest of the diamonds get even a little pass when Pink didn’t need a 14 year old kid to tell her what she had done was wrong.

The song Light of my Life from Drawn to Life the Next Chapter made me straight up cry the first time I heard it. I couldn’t even finish the game because of it. And I feel It fits what Rose wanted for Steven to begin with.

bonus that the character that originally sang it was also named Rose!

I LOVE these AUs, and they were all made by some of the nicest Muns!!! Definitely some of the darker-themed stories for SU out there, but by no means the darkest, or the most depressing. Just be prepared for what you may be getting into! I still HIGHLY recommend giving the ones you haven’t already seen a read!

They all look so vastly different when next to eachother than I was expecting…but they all still look like Steven

So Pink had two children instead? One of them is Steven who was born with a big part of her gym, while the other is his little brother Coren who was only born with a shard of her gem?

Mhm! you are correct. Rose split her gem between all of them, as Steven was born first he got half of her gem while Rose kept the other half. Four years later Coren came along and Rose had to give a part of her gem to him. Rose had to make the decision of giving him a shard as she needs to stay strong enough to complete missions and such. Hope this helps! ^^
