I can confirm that @blitheringmcgonagall’s We Can Be Heroes is excellent, and I’ve heard nothing but good things about @chdarling’s TLE series!!! The rest of the fics on your list are always mentioned with high praise as well, I really need to get around to reading them!

I am just starting to get into the Marauders and wanted to ask, do you have any fic recommendations? There are so many and I’m not sure where to start

hi hello! Welcome! There really is so much out there but considering you're new(ish?), I will rec some fics that play closer to the canon realm:

The Last Enemy series by @chdarling is where you need to start if you haven't already. You won't regret it. Superb characterization! Feels like stepping back into the magic of the original series.

WIP Word Search Game

I only have 1 WIP right now, and it’s a fic that I haven’t announced yet.... but here’s a sneak peek! 👀

DANCE

“You’re bored,” Narcissa guessed.

Lucius’ nostrils flared. Instead of responding, he steered her through the paces of the dance. 

She wondered if this was how the Imperiused workers at the Ministry felt — her arms and legs did Lucius’ bidding, even as she wanted to run.

“You are correct,” he said at last. “I am utterly bored. Drinks and dancing and vapid conversation are not enough to occupy my mind.”

MATTER

He threw a pinch of Floo powder into the hearth and was about to step in when Lily said, “Wait — but I’m not a real Healer! I’m not qualified for this!”

Benjy Fenwick’s stretched-out face softened. “Desperate times, I’m afraid, Lily. Trust your instincts — Madam Pomfrey trained you well, and I have full confidence in your abilities.”

“But — but…” Lily didn’t know how to explain how not ready she was. What if she made a mistake? What if her inexperience killed someone? “Benjy, what happens if someone dies?”

His response was immediate and matter-of-fact. “Mundungus will take them to the morgue.”

MEMORY

When Severus had finished, he stepped away from the Pensieve and addressed Regulus. “If there’s anything you’d rather be kept hidden, now’s your chance.”

He meant the offer ironically, but to his surprise, Regulus came forward and hovered uncertainly over the Pensieve. After a moment, he touched his wand to the side of his masked face, and a single gossamer memory fell into the basin, swirling among the mist.
