i really need to see more super bold speculative paleobiology. so many characteristic features of animals we know today would not be preserved well if at all. I think you should just go fucking crazy with it. no more shrinkwrapping. no more “well, maybe they can have a bit of feathers…”. i want them to look like they could be alive today but still be freaky as hell.

granted i am a zoology nerd though not familiar with paleo at all HAHA.. but i feel so excited when i see reconstructive art, and it’s COOL, but it also just looks like some animal you’d see roaming masai mara if you went back in time and moved a rock or something
