3. Taking care of our mental health is so vital, especially when lockdown due to pandemic started and everyone is forced to be more agile and resilient.

4. Confidence can be developed if we have the courage of taking risks and learning from our failures.

5. Being surrounded by a community that helps us to survive from the challenges of this pandemic is a great blessing from above.

6. Staying at home for so many months reminded us the value of mother nature.

7. There’s no such thing as balanced life, we always need to identify what to prioritize or not.

8. Listening to podcasts while working is a smart way to learn while easing the boredom in doing repetitive tasks.

9. A grateful heart is a tool to appreciate even the small wins.

10. Lastly, our relationship with the creator will always be the greatest source of hope, strength, and wisdom to do our purpose here in the universe.

One day it will make sense

Maraming nangyayari sa mundo na di natin kaagad nauunawaan, but one day it will all make sense. Mga pangyayaring nakakagulat, pero maiisip mo na lang na just mind your own life, and hey just do your best to be the best version of yourself. Huwag magpa-apekto sa mga uncontrollable scenarios of life. Kung saan ka tinanim at kung saan ka man dinala ng tadhana just enjoy and bounce back if nag fail ka man along your journey.

Our assurance is only in Jesus Christ our Lord. We, Christians, sometimes even forget this especially when we are in troubled waters. But thanks to the epistles of His disciples, a living truth that God loves us so much no matter who we are. Just keep the faith and turn all our worries to Him. In time, in God's perfect time, I believe He will answer all our prayers when he sees that we can then handle it with grace and humility.

Perspective

 Life is indeed all about perspective. We see things differently according to how the way we process thoughts in our mind. Mind is a battlefield. Before we even speak or act it all starts in the mind. So, imagine how powerful the mind is? It could create beautiful imaginations to inspire us each day, but it could also baffled us if we don't know how to filter information coming to it.

Salamat, COVID-19!

Sa kabila ng mga negatibong nangyayari ngayong panahon na patuloy ang pagkalat ng virus sa iba’t-ibang dako ng mundo, partikular na sa bansang Pilipinas, madami pa din naman ang kapansin-pansin na magandang dulot nito sa ating pamumuhay lalong-lalo na sa ating kapaligiran. Pansin ko na maagang nananahimik ang aming lugar bago pa man pumatak ang alas otso ng gabi dahil sa pagpapalaganap ng curfew mula 8:00 P.M. hanggang 5:00 A.M. Napakapayapa ng paligid, para akong nasa probinsya. Kaya nga naudyok akong magsulat ngayon. Gusto ko lang i-dokumento ang mga ganitong pagkakataon kung saan ang sarap sa pakiramdam na ang payapa ng mundo. 

Kanina lamang nang ako'y nag-ayos ng aking kabinet bigla ko naisip na halos isang buwan din pala makapagpapahinga ang aking mga maong pants maging yung mga pang opisina kong damit na lingo-lingong nilalabhan ng aking nanay. Salamat sa mga ganitong hindi inaasahan na pagkakataon. Tunay ngang “always find the blessing in everyday” kasi meron at meron talagang magandang nangyayari sa mga pangit na sitwasyon ng ating buhay.

Taong-bahay sa ika limang araw... Patuloy lamang tayo na maging produktibo sa ganitong panahon. Sa katotohanan nga madami pa akong gagawin pero naisipan ko lang tumambay dito kung saan mas payapa at iilan lamang ang makababasa ng aking hinaing - mga taong gusto rin malayo muna sa ingay na dulot ng kabi-kabilang isyu ng lipunan maging sa kumakalat na mga tiktok videos. Haha! Sabi ko hinding-hindi ako mag ti-TikTok, pero kanina lamang nag-download ako at nanuod ng mga bidyo, masaya pala talaga! Baka bukas may entry na rin ako!?

Hey! Whoever you are reading this, are you having a bad day because of the challenges and disappointments in life? I just want to encourage you by saying, please don't be too hard on yourself! That may sound so cliche, but it's true because nobody is perfect, as in no one! I know you wanted to make things on track as much as possible, but life is just so challenging and we are not always on our best self in fighting a good fight. It's only a reminder that in our weakness His glory appears; that when we are having a fragile mind the more that we need His strength. 

 It's normal to experience the highs and lows of life. If you feel that you are already drowning, be honest with yourself by acknowledging your current situation. For me, it's humility that you know you can't always be brave. We always need that someone who will tap our back and remind that it shall come to pass. Or, maybe you just need your alone time so you can listen to the message of God through prayers and by reading His word. After that, surely He will turn the turmoil in your heart into a healthy state of mind.

2 Dekada’t 4 Taon

Tumatakbo ang oras. Umiikot ang mundo. Mabilis na lumilipas ang mga araw at gabi. Dalawang dekada at apat na taon na nga pala ang nagdaan at patuloy na nadadagdagan.

Marami na ang nangyari mula nang makapagtapos sa kolehiyo. Tatlong taon na din mula noong taong 2016. Kay bilis nga naman ng panahon. Walang nakatitiyak kung ano ang talagang magaganap sa mga susunod pang oras, araw, buwan o taon na darating.

Ano na nga ba? Saan patungo? Ano ang tamang hakbang? Madaming plano, madaming ganap sa buhay. Basta ang alam ko lang kailangan ko magpatuloy. Buhay pa ako kasi may misyon pa ako. Salamat sa ýo Panginoon sa pagbibigay ng mas malalim na kahulugan sa buhay kong ito. Sobrang laking pasasalamat ang nais kong ipahayag para sa mga taong ginamit mo at sitwasyong hinayaan mong kaharapin ko para maging isang anak na marunong lumaban ng tama sa hamon ng buhay. Hindi ako perpekto, pero Ikaw oh Diyos ko, oo. Gusto man Kita tanungin nang tanungin ngunit alam ko naman ang sagot - matutong mag-antay, di lamang mag-antay kundi mag-antay na may magandang karakter na ipinamumuhay sa panahon nang pag-aantay. Madami na nga ang sumagi sa aking isipan para subukan ang mga bagay na sa tingin ko baka pwede naman na. Pero salamat kasi lagi Ka andiyan para akoý paalalahanan na hindi sapat na ako lang ang handa, dapat handa na din ang lahat. Hahayaan ko na lamang na Ikaw na lang ang kumilos sa buhay ko. Dahil alam ko na kapag ako lang ito, siguradong mapapahamak lamang ako.

Salamat sa 2 dekada't 4 taon para sa walang sawang pagmahahal na walang katumbas! Marami ka pang gagawin na mas higit pa sa aking plano. Lahat ng papuri ay itinataas para lamang sa Iyo!

Relationships are the strongest when the roots are deep in Jesus. Without both parties’ feet planted firmly in Christ, everything can easily crumble in front of our eyes. Jesus absolutely has to be laid as the foundation, firm and secure. Each heart needs to be actively pursuing Christ, so that in everything, He is more evidently being glorified. Through this, we achieve our purpose. And when that purpose is achieved, our relationships with one another strengthen and intensify. When we whole-heartedly pursue Jesus, while picking up our crosses and following Him daily, in a humble and sacrificial way, we are only then able to pursue our significant other in the way that the Lord has intended. Because love is patient, love is kind, it does not envy, it does not boast, it is not self seeking, it does not dishonor others. It doesn’t delight in evil, but it rejoices in truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things endures all things, and it never fails. And that’s how we are called to love each other. This type of love is the solution to it all. So when our eyes are focused on Christ and our roots are firmly planted in His love, that’s when we are able to love in these ways. That’s when we know that we are loving as we are called to.
