i think people take my defending of famous or rich people to mean i care about them in any capacity beyond that of a human whose career is literally to empathize with and rehabilitate other humans. i go to work every day and treat and empathize with and form friendships with all kinds of people — rich people occasionally. and i mean “i own several patents and could die and leave my money to my children and they and their children wouldn’t have to work a day in their lives” rich. these people still have problems, lol, they’re still people i have to talk off a ledge or hand “dangers of alcohol after a stroke” pamphlets to or wipe their ass cause now their spine is busted or talk them out of killing themselves. any human can have any problem doesn’t matter what they do for a living or how they’re raised or how much money they have and i’d think this site which preaches mental health awareness etc etc would have even just a shred of human decency. taylor swift is not jeff fucking bezos and she was raised in an industry that we know is notorious for abusing children. remember millionaire britney spears? remember how people treated her and justified it? lol

i dont cry for billionaires but making the call -- like, sincerely, not as a joke or potshot -- from your couch that a famous person is definitely faking a substance abuse problem or mental health crisis strikes me as a little bit stupid, and also pointless. might as well start theorizing that she's secretly gay too

if i have to see one more thing complaining about taylor swift im gonna lose it. why do yall care so much. every time she drops an album i have to scroll past vaguely misogynistic thinkpieces on why she sucks or is annoying. what’s annoying is how obsessed people who don’t like her are with her. just don’t listen to her music, it’s soooooo easy.

this isnt directed @ anyone specifically but if youre not native, dont make native blood quantum jokes or police who is native or not based on their blood quantum. dont make jokes about white ppl racefaking as native.  dont make jokes about “1/4th cherokee” ppl.  dont say “youre not really native unless youre (insert blood quantum here)” or say whitepassing people arent native.  

these things are not your place to decide or joke about, even if you mean well.  i know racefaking and white people claiming to be native for funsies is a serious issue in the native community, but it is an intra-community one, and making jokes about ppl who are mixed and native or pretend to be does more harm than good if you are not native, since non-native people should not be allowed to decide which native people are legit or not.

my now spouse was friends with a girl (an actress) whose dad was a producer for this geography based nickelodeon game show. my now spouse and i were on the pilot episode, which was filmed at a school in austin?? i think? but the whole thing got shut down when my now spouse’s friend’s dad (the producer, keep up) got busted by the feds for possession of child porn. they were apparently initially investigating him for embezzlement and the child porn was a bonus find

watching this nickelodeon documentary and thinking about the time i was on a nickelodeon pilot that got nerfed because the creator was arrested for possessing child porn
