One of the nicest people in the business and on the planet. Gentle, welcoming, a person from another time. I missed him since his retirement. The world will miss him and people like him. My deepest condolences to the family and loved ones. RIP, Bob Rice.

I was in my studio looking for inspiration for a new song, and I was thinking about the importance of music production of being ahead of the curve and not relying on nostalgia. But what do I really mean by that?
-
Nostalgia is a powerful thing.
-
But nostalgia can also be a trap.
-
So how do you stay ahead of the curve?
-
The best way to stay ahead of the curve is to be creative. Experiment with new sounds and new ideas. Don't be afraid to take risks. And most importantly, don't be afraid to be yourself.
The music industry is full of talented people. But what sets the greats apart is their ability to be original. They're not afraid to push the boundaries and create something new.
There are many artists that get stylistic inspiration from the past, see Bruno Mars and Daft Punk but always with a dash of modernization and look forward, never backward, and never resist experimentation. It’s always exciting to see how they take something old and make it new again!
So again, get inspired from the past and add new things to make it yours and modern!
-
Remember, the music industry is always evolving, so you need to keep up if you want to be successful. So go out there and make some music!

Chace is a Chinese artist who produces electronic pop music with lo-fi, muffled vocals and mellow, downtempo beats. He is knowledgeable about all aspects of music production, including plugins, and uses AudioThing and FabFilter plugins for mastering. His signature sound includes mixing different reverbs to blend distant and close soundscapes. Timeless 3 and Logic Pro Channel EQ are among the plugins he uses frequently, and he relies on a processing chain for vocals that includes Universal Audio Pultec Legacy EQ and Antares AVOX SYBIL.

Being a music creative today is different from what you think.
-
I was in my studio thinking about that… Being a music creative today is no more what I thought it was years ago.
-
The music industry has changed dramatically in the past ten years.
-
Music creatives today are expected to have a broader range of skills beyond just music.
-
I have been a creative music professional since 1993, and I know that in the past, it was enough for a musician to be a talented artist, but today is no longer like that.
On a scale of 1 to 10, our creative music skill is no longer in the first position.
-
To keep alive our existence in the industry, we must compromise our goal of creating music with a bunch of extra content and know many skills that, most of the time, have nothing to do with music, such as video editing, graphic post-production, and use of the online tools and platforms to managing our websites and all the dynamic content.
-
Achieving success in music today requires more than ever, discipline and consistency at the core. We must be willing to work hard and be dedicated to creating great music and promoting ourselves effectively. We also need to be patient and persistent. Building a successful career in music takes time, and there will be setbacks along the way.
But if we embrace the advance of technology and use it to our advantage, helping us acquire all the required new skills, and with the addition of passion, drive, and talent, we will achieve our dreams…

Impact of AI on Music, Technology Evolution from Prehistory to the AI Age
Music has always been a part of human culture…
From the earliest humans who beat drums and made music with their voices to the modern day with its electronic music and streaming services, music has always been a way for people to express themselves and connect with each other.
Like the crossover from analog to digital, from physical support to mp3, and then to streaming music, AI will have a huge role in the evolution of music.
AI is another step in this technological evolution and will lead to new frontiers in music.
With the development of artificial intelligence, we may see even more new and innovative forms of music in the years to come…

I was walking in the darkwood when suddenly something happened 😮 Get the apps, following the link in bio! 👌 . #AI #midjourney #googlebard #chatgpt #openai #newscript #leiapix #filmora
The year is 2345. The world is a very different place than it was just a few centuries ago. Technology has advanced to the point where robots and artificial intelligence are commonplace. But even in this futuristic world, there are still places where nature reigns supreme.
One such place is the Darkwood. A vast forest that stretches for hundreds of miles, the Darkwood is home to all manner of creatures, both natural and supernatural. It is a place of mystery and danger, but it is also a place of great beauty.
One day, a man named John decided to venture into the Darkwood. He was a scientist, and he was drawn to the forest's rich history and lore. He had heard stories of the creatures that lived there, but he was not afraid. He was armed with his knowledge and his courage, and he was determined to explore the Darkwood and learn its secrets.
John walked for many days, following the winding paths that led through the forest. He saw all manner of strange and wonderful things. He saw trees that were hundreds of years old, and flowers that bloomed only at night. He saw animals that he had never seen before, and he heard the sounds of creatures that he could not see.
As he walked, John began to feel a sense of peace. The Darkwood was a place of magic and mystery, but it was also a place of peace and tranquility. John felt at home in the forest, and he knew that he would never forget his time there.
One day, John came to a clearing. In the middle of the clearing was a large tree. The tree was so old that its branches were twisted and gnarled, and its bark was covered in moss. John had never seen a tree like it before.
John walked up to the tree and touched its bark. As soon as his fingers made contact with the bark, he felt a surge of energy flow through his body. He felt stronger, more confident, and more alive than he had ever felt before.
John knew that this was a special place. This was the heart of the Darkwood. This was the place where magic was born.
John sat down beneath the tree and closed his eyes. He took a deep breath and let the energy of the forest wash over him. He felt his worries and his fears melt away. He felt at peace.
John opened his eyes and looked around the clearing. He saw the trees, the flowers, and the animals. He saw the beauty of the forest, and he knew that he would never forget his time here.
John stood up and turned to leave. As he walked away, he looked back at the tree one last time. He knew that he would be back. He knew that this was a place where he belonged.
John continued to explore the Darkwood for many years. He learned much about the forest and its creatures. He even met some of the creatures that lived there, and he formed friendships with them.
One day, John was walking through the forest when he came across a group of people who were lost. John helped them find their way back to the city, and they were so grateful that they offered to pay him. John refused their money, but he did ask them to tell others about the Darkwood.
John's story spread, and soon people from all over the world were coming to the Darkwood to see it for themselves. John was happy to welcome them, and he always took the time to tell them about the forest and its creatures.
John lived a long and happy life in the Darkwood. He died peacefully in his sleep at the age of 100, surrounded by his friends and family. He was buried under the tree in the clearing, and his grave is still there today.
The Darkwood is a place of mystery and wonder, but it is also a place of peace and tranquility. It is a place where anyone can find their place in the world, no matter who they are or where they come from.

Ed Sheeran's copyright case
I'm relieved about the outcome of Ed Sheeran's copyright case. From my honest point of view, it could have had a negative impact on the music industry.
Copyright is a complex topic, and many musicians and industry professionals need help understanding how it works. However, understanding the music business, including copyright laws, is crucial for anyone in the industry. It's just as important as mastering music theory and performance skills.
