It's incredibly hard to read Yu-Gi-Oh when I have to stop at every page bc Yugi and Yami Yugi's bromance makes me so goddamn emo.

However you wanna interpret their relationship, you can't tell me they're not literal soulmates.

Yami used to bet on his life a lot in the early manga because he thought he was Yugi. Another part of Yugi. Since meeting with him eyes to eyes and learning he has been betting on YUGI'S life all the while he's been incredibly ashamed of it and won't forgive anyone who threatens his aibou.

MEANWHILE Yugi has learned that the current villain has a grudge against Yami and wants to kill him which would also mean killing Yugi and Yugi ONLY CARES THAT YAMI IS IN DANGER. I can't. I just can't.

SO EMO over literal soulmates that learn more about themselves while knowing each other and then you have the audacity to ask me why I'm so obsessed with Ozpin and Oscar's bond???

Tumblr, you've helped me find ancient fanfictions so many times I hope you can come through for me on this one. I'm looking for a yugioh fic based in modern day. The pharaoh chose to stay in the present, got his own body, has his own home and is wealthy whatever. And he and yugi are still friends. The story opens with yugi running home in the rain I think and stopping at yamis house to shelter but he winds up having to stay over. At some point in the night he finds out yami has feelings for him, I think he went to the pharaoh because of the lighting and overheard the pharaoh sleep talking about him. Anyway he ran home with the pharaoh chasing him, horrified that yugi found out. Yugi avoids him for a bit and then sees him when they go to the movies I think? It was so long ago, but I remember laughing because they were dressed in the same colours but opposite. Yami wore orange pants and a white top and yugi white pants and an orange top. I think it was on ff.net but I'm not sure. They do get together eventually

While going through his cards, she found a small package of seeds for her favorite flowers.

He told her he was going to surprise her so she could plant them, but held off until it got warmer so they could plant them together.
