You know what's the best thing about Childe doing Zhongli's spear kick in the 4.2 cutscene?

It implies they got their reconciliation fight. Childe never fought the guy in Liyue arc so it obviously happened later. He wouldn't have seen that move otherwise.

Does anyone know if there are Zhongchi fics where after Zhongli retires as archon, he decides to side with the Fatui/Tsaritsa? It honestly really seems like all the archons are awfully passive about the Fatui gathering all the super powerful Gnosis. So what if Zhongli became a harbinger, or perhaps a co-head of the Fatui alongside the Tsaritsa?

A story like this could be played for some golden crack, or it could be a 250k word fic where in the end all archons fight and defeat Celestia/the Abyss or whatever. Or perhaps both, both are good.

But would it be a slowburn Zhongchi, or would they already be in love beforehand? There's so much potential here and I don't have the stamina as a writer to do it justice.

her death was a stench he could never forget. something like acrid smoke and decay, crossed with honey and holly. nobody seemed to notice other than rosinante. doflamingo scavenged for food to sustain her and rosinante picked the most fragrant flowers he could find. she smiled radiantly when she received her last, wilting bouquet. at least he could remember the gleam of her smile more than the stench of her death.
