I did want to put out a note that this blog has not been abandoned! I was finishing up a semester of graduate school and took a break from a lot of things. Please be patient as I catch up.
In the meantime, any submissions are greatly appreciated!

Prompt: Chetney and Orym grow closer during their woodworking sessions. They share stories, and Chetney learns about his past—his absent father, losing his husband, etc. Chetney takes it upon himself to take on a protective father role, especially in battle. During one fight, Chetney is the one that Orym looks to first. Afterward, Dorian has to convince himself that he's definitely not jealous. Especially not of Chetney.

Prompt: "What made you ask Chetney for a skyship?"
"I thought that, no matter what happens, I would have it to remind me of coming on this journey with the two of you."

Prompts: Chetney has promptly decided to be a father figure for Orym, after seeing his woodwork. And seeing the eyes he constantly gives Dorian, this involves some rather awkward and unsolicited relationship advice.

"I know it's nothing like Chetney can make, but..."
"Orym, it's beautiful. It's perfect."

Prompt: Over time, the sleeping arrangements of Fearne, Orym, and Dorian change slightly. Usually, Orym lays between the two, draped across like he's in a hammock. Sometimes, Dorian squeezes himself between his two friends for that sense of comfort. The truth is, they're both a bit touch-starved and need the comfort. Dorian especially doesn't seem to know how to ask for it.

Prompt: "You told all of us to not pretend to be something we're not at this party."
"I'm the best person for this job. You said it yourself."
"That doesn't mean you have to abandon who you are."

Immediately he's faced with the awful memories of the party when he was younger—only this time, Orym is the one shot down. Abandoning all plans, Dorian is desperate to just get them out alive.

Prompt: An attack is made on the ball by the same disappearing creatures that killed the Lumas twins and attacked the Ashari. Orym doesn't hesitate to jump into the fray with whatever makeshift weapon he can find. He only hesitates when he sees one of the creatures advance on Dorian—suddenly the memories from the Zephrah attack, the ones he tries to avoid, the memories of who and what he lost are too much. He can't let the same thing happen twice, but the panic and fear leave him frozen.

Prompt: Pre-EXU Bodyguard AU.
After the murder of his husband, Orym's need for distance from the Ashari leads him to taking a bodyguard job far, far from home.
Meanwhile, after a failed runaway attempt, Bronte's family send out a job posting for a personal guard. To keep him safe but mostly to keep him "home".

“Roll!”
While he hadn't understood why Ashton kept a bag of dice on their person at all times when they started, a couple of rounds in he was starting to get the appeal. He learned more about the ones that had rolled lowest so far in this time than all the time he's known them. It also provided him the perfect opportunity to set his plan into motion if the dice would cooperate for just one round.

Prompt: Upon returning to Zephrah once again, Keyleth remarks upon how happy Orym looks. He admits that he has been healing in ways he didn't think possible, but still feels torn about the feelings he's developed for Dorian. The two discuss not moving on, but moving forward, continuing to live despite loss.

Prompt: Imogen doesn't try to pry, but sometimes, her companions just think so loud: especially a certain fighter and a certain bard. She doesn't want to interfere, but maybe if she helps move things along, she can get some peace and quiet.

Prompt: 5+1. Chetney is shocked to realize that Orym and Dorian are not, in fact, dating, when they are so obviously in love with each other. After they've both helped him so much, it only seems right that he help them in return—by helping them realize their feelings, confess, and finally get together. But none of it goes the way he planned.

Prompt: Hanahaki AU. There are old stories of druid magic turning on a person, making flowers grow in their lungs from love that can never be had. But it's just stories—old wives' tales and bards' songs, and there's no truth to them. At least, that's what Orym thinks before he starts coughing up blue petals.
