Okay y'all hear me out but BakuDeku who WANT to go public with their relationship, but Midoriya literally just cannot fuckinf handle PDA.

Bakugou grabs Midoriya's hand and he just starts fucking bawling.

Every time Bakugou smiles at Midoriya, he just fucking combusts.

He just can't handle feeling that happy, so it becomes this awkward area where it seriously looks like they're going completely backwards. Midoriya can barely stand in the same room as Bakugou (because looking at Bakugou makes him so happy), he's always crying around Bakugou (he's an emotional crier!), and he's gone back to being super jumpy and hyperaware of Bakugou (because he still can't believe that they've both come so far)

So, obviously compliments, smiles, flirting- they're all out of the question, because Midoriya will just fucking die.

Bakugou has to go back to that aggressive style he used to use around Midoriya just so that Midoriya doesn't swoon every five fucking minutes. He doesn't really mind it, because he can still feel Midoriya's Kacchanification of his persona (and because the moment doors are closed, they're glues together), but it still looks like they're at odds with each other.

But no.

Midoriya is just SO painfully gay that his precious Kacchan smiling at him? Telling he did good? Holding his hand?? He can't take it.
