Back
I am back! Sorry about the long hiatus. I've been busy caring for my patients and family. With Covid not being as much of a threat my work died down for a bit so I decided to move and go to school! I have always had a passion for looking good, so I decided to get a degree in fashion design. Not sure how I will mix the two passions, but we will see. I have learned much about the modern world and will be sharing with you!

cryptid
I really want to make one for the month of October! I will probably make one each month. I want to keep them in the United States, and only one from each state. I already have a Mothman from West Virginia so send requests! I will do them on my free time.

My new roommate is here! Everyone say hi to Mothman! He will be helping me at home and taking care of people. He said he would like to invite someone over, but he has a lot of friends. Who do you think? We want to keep in the United States because travelling is expensive.

Sorry it has been a while. I (ask the kids say) got some snazzy new digs! I have the gifts given to me by the mushroom people surrounding me, and will soon have a new friend. They will be coming over soon, so I have to add some room for them.

Sorry it has been a while. I’ve been very busy with a nearby village and someone pointed out to me that they would sometimes pay doctors in eels. I was a bit confused because I was not aware of that currency, but it did happen! This here describes people renting Water mills for “sticks” of eels. Anyway, I just had a fantastic eel stew so I suppose that was nice.

cryptids
I have been doing some research on cryptids in my free time and I really want to sew one. Which one do you think I should do? I want to try and stay in the America’s, but others from around the world are alright.

The village that I just helped offered me a fruit cake instead of money, I don’t know what to do. Maybe I could use the cake as a frisbee?

cloak
I really just want to wear all black, a long cloak with a big hood, and a sword where ever I go. I want to be the physical personification of some edgy medieval emo teen. I basically just want to be Murtagh from Eragon. I want to, but Jim already to weird and I don’t want people to be to freaked out due to their lack of YA fantasy experience. I don’t really read it on my own, but I am in a book club. I just want a cloak honestly.

So, apparently murder victims do not bleed near their murderer? I suppose one learns a new thing everyday!

Quick Question
My friend wants to make their own plague mask and most likely has the leather to do it. Mine is quite old and I’m pretty sure it is stuck to my face so I don’t really know how to make one (gift from an old colleague). Any patterns or tips? Also what to use for the eyes, mine are glass but there are so many options now a days that it can be a bit difficult deciding. They unfortunate don’t have much access to the internet shopping, but can go to crafting stores. Any help would be good for them!

Sorry for the sideways photo, I’m still trying to figure out all of this incredible new technology. I just wanted to tell people about thyme. It is a fantastic herb for many healing purposes and rituals. Not only does it taste good but it can be found in many places. One such place it really old graveyards. Near where I live there is a graveyard hundreds of years old. It had broken nameless graves And some of them date back to the 1800s. Many graveyards this old have thyme planted around them, which is a tradition that can be traced back to Ancient Greece! If you find some in a graveyard always be very respectful of the grave keepers and the dead. Ask permission if it is a private graveyard and don’t take it all! Just be sure to respect those that are buried there and those that live with it everyday.

Rain
Where I live we had quite the dry spell, but now it has been raining for the past few days. It really is quite beautiful to see the green leaves framed by water drops. It is like the whole world is covered in small crystals. Unfortunately I have been working very hard and have had many struggles these past couple weeks. Due to the lack of rain leeches were very hard to come by and many of my herbs died. I felt down on my luck, until I was walking along a back road after a particularly nasty case, when I noticed just how pretty it all was. There was birdsong all around me and I saw a fat frog sitting on a stump. It made me realise that while there is some much evil coursing through this world, there is also so much good. Most of the time, the good is right in front of us, just waiting to be found.
