I think one of the few times Dust actually laughs - like genuinely really laughs - is when Killer hurts himself. Not like when he's out of control and gets hurt or anything, but just when he like falls over without meaning to or something.

Like 90% of the time he's focused in on his guilt and self hatred and can force himself not to even crack a smile, but every now and then he sees Killer eat shit and it just breaks him

Well, a few can eat plants if they wanted to, it really depends on the dragon, tho. And I can introduce you to a couple dragons here who are very welcoming of pets. And yes, fire can be dangerous, but the good ones only ever use fire as a defense, so you shouldn't worry about getting burned.

One of the friendly dragons is over here. *I lead him to the dragon, it's only a little taller than I am, and its scales are light blue in color and has amber eyes. It also has curly horns, and the inside of its wings is a deep purple. It lowers its head to sniff me, and I bring my hand up to scratch its chin. It rumbles in happiness, and then sees Nightmare and lowers itself to get a better look, moving slowly.*

Ok, just reach your hand out and let it sniff you. And don't worry, I'm right here if you feel uncomfortable.
