Got really sick...Confessions will resume in a few days

I probably mentioned this before but my brother in law and I run a very successful party/catering business. We recently did a kids party and a few days later we both got sick because some parents evidently let their sick kids come to the party. It hit us both hard with a high temp, cough, body aches, nausea, etc but was worse for my bro in law since he hates being sick. (Its a chef thing)

And no it was not Covid as we tested for it but whatever it was completely drained us.

We're still not feeling great and now my brother and my guy have it and we feel bad because they were taking care of us.

This experience has also made us decide to only do parties for those 16 and over from now on since its apparent a lot of parents out there can be thoughtless. (We found out several others became sick as well along with our client who paid us)

Anyway I just wanted to let you know and apologize for the blog not being updated. Everything will be back to normal soon. Thanks for understanding. -SMC

I'm in the medical field. During the pandemic, I worked twelve hour ships at my local hospital and had to deal with constantly being verbally abused and threatened. And while I would continue to hold my head high and try to care for people to the best of my ability, sometimes during my breaks I would think how handy mark of the rift would be to deal with some of these assholes.

I know it's a pipe dream, but I'd really like it if we could have a parent/child relationship with another party member. I'd REALLY love it if the Female Qunari was the players adopted daughter in the Dwarf origin. The Size difference would be so so be cute.

I was watching The Ones Who Live and when Rick got his prosthesis for his hand I immediately though of my rogue inquisitor and how that would be perfect for them.

I always thought the inquisitor looked way too unconcerned when falling during the Here Lies the Abyss mission. They had some great shocked/angry expressions during other quests and missions and I always though they should have had one for the falling scene

CONFESSION:

I found those lyrium smuggler lurkers in the Hinterlands to be more annoying than the bears. The bears were only annoying when you had to deal with more than one and two of the lurkers.

Sometimes when killing the ghouls in the Darkspawn quest at the Storm Coast, some of their loot would be Ferelden-based like a toy soldier and I would realize these were likely people fleeing the blight and caught by darkspawn ten years earlier.

Ok this is going to sound petty but as someone who played the least popular races, I am glad Dreadwolf has had a massively long development time because I got sick of the brigade of Solavellan fans saying they needed special content in the next game. And when you asked them about Adaar and Cadash, most would say those inquisitors did not matter. I do not support any sort of blatant/in your face fan service for any of the races and I take solace in knowing its never going to happen.

Having seen you're post about things you're getting about Vivienne I felt that it was time I said something. She is one of my favorite characters in Inquisition, as she is an empowered woman. She is politically savvy, knows how to play the game, and knows when to be ruthless.

CONFESSION:

I know it likely won't happen but I would love to play a hybrid class in the next game. During the Wicked mission, it felt like my mage inquisitor was a mage-rogue with the way they dodged arrows and such. And playing a hybrid class in Greedfall made me see how fun they could be.

CONFESSION:

I wished for DA:2 that Carver or Bethany did not have to die in the beginning of the game depending on what class you have your Hawke character as. To me, it would have been better when it comes to the Deep Roads Expedition quest, you have to decide which one of your siblings goes with you while the other one stays with Mother to watch over her. And from that outcome, either one of them dies in the Deep Roads/Becomes a Warden while the other joins the Templars/taken into the Circle.
