One more ask for the pile, what's the official status of Jake and Jade in the dragon setting? Like are they still crime lords from the streets or are they spoiled royalty brats?

They will probably remain related to crime tbh, like i have thought about what other things they could do, but to put it silly, i could get Jake out of the gun fight, but i cannot get the gun fight out of Jake lmao. And Jade's core personality is being the hottest shit in town, the one with absolute control despite lacking the needed empathy to keep her more violent impulses under control. The two are kind of just meant to be in the darker side of life.

Tho now that they are in this more flexible world, i might be able to add other elements in their stories that i couldn't quite fit in their pokemon setting, more supernatural shenanigans related to a certain butler ;)

Regarding Saline, is she like a mother figure to Vex and Vinny in the 'Welcome Back/City' setting? I know you mentioned that they were very close friends in the past, but I wondered if I misunderstood any of the text.

Oh no she was more like the youngest friend who was adopted into the boys' friend group when they were kids, then suddenly became the tallest of the group once she evolved lol

She even was Vex' girlfriend for a few years. they had a very complicated friendship, but it turned into a very lovely relationship for many years, that sadly ended when Sally moved to another region with her family, and young Vex was at time in his life where he could not handle the idea of being so far away from people close to him.

Vinny was instead more neutral about her, or sometimes a bit bitter since he was (and still is) quick to side with Vex, and anyone messing with his brother in any way is quick to end in his blacklist. He cannot deny she sorta opened his brain to femininity in some way, to him she was always very aesthetically pretty it probably led him to were he's at now.

In current times they don't know much about her beyond seeing her face occasionally in magazines (She wanted to be an actress or model), it's bittersweet but Vex still tries to remain happy and glad to know she made it after all.

I actually have a question regarding the dragon world setting, do the trio have any kind of relationship with your 4 elemental dragon ocs? Or are they separate things?

in canon no they don't, the story i have for the original four happens long long before the lizard trio and all their friends were born.

That being said i still wanna draw them together, like welcoming the new bunch into this world of mine, cuz it would be super cute ;v;

If it's cool to dig into that Vampire AU a little bit, what do Vinny and Nala do for jobs, and how'd the three of them individually get turned into Vampires? They've been around for a while so it made me wonder when it hypothetically started for them in this setting.

job wise, Vincent doesn't really have one, he disappeared a few generations ago and people ended up believing he either moved without saying a word or died, so to the current world he's pretty much gone. Now that he's out and about, he mostly just stays at his old manor, taking care of what's left of it after a couple centuries alone, while depending on Vex and Nala to bring him some sustenance.

For Nala i always imagined her working at a bar/dance club, one that secretly serves drinks to other vampires sneaking around, she's probably the most normal of the trio lol

Now as to how each got turned, Vex and Vinny didn't really have someone bite them actually, but rather come from a strong bloodline full of vampires, Vinny being the most pure of the trio, while also being centuries old in comparison (instead of a brother he's Vex' many times great uncle in this AU.)

Vex on the other hand, had some mixing before his birth, with his mother being a werewolf (werecat? She's still a liepard here) which gave him a more powerful and monstrous form.

It was Nala who was actually bitten by someone, i'm not sure of the details just yet, but i mostly imagine it was some bad friendship who "initiated" her into the vamp life, only to leave her hanging with all her new weird powers and needs. At least she was lucky enough to cross paths with Vex.

Oh! I'll try my best to send in some questions when I can then as well XD. For starters I'm kinda curious on what Vex's job is in the city life storyline? Same for the Vampire AU too now that I think about it, I like wondering about what the supernatural do to pass off as mundane people sometimes.

Vex works as a partial owner of a gym and personal trainer in it along with his buddies, where they have machines, classes, and a small arena to teach basic battle moves, where he and his floatzel friend Zeke spend some of their off hours at.

Now for the vamp AU i never really thought about it? lol i imagine the best job for him would be as a night guard, maybe at some large warehouse or storing place, where being able to stay up all night without feeling exhausted while having many dark corners to hide his true form just enough to scare people away, would fit him perfectly, might be the most fun job he could have!
