But, what about us?

Welcome to this synastry post. With this I intend to talk about those aspects that could seem tense and about which many have dedicated themselves to simply talking about the dark side without talking about the other side of the coin. I do not intend to sugarcoat these placements, simply to say their good side as long as both do their part. I won’t talk about each aspect, just the ones that are usually pointed out as very tense or irremediable. In the same way, I won’t talk about the darker side of this aspect since you can find that information quite easily. In case you support this post, I may consider making a second part. With that being said, let's begin.

🟫Sun making hard aspects with Sun [Square or Opposition].

This aspect is usually the target of hate for many who are just beginning their path to astrology, seeing them as incompatible, especially those who square. On occasions, for many the idea of being very different from someone makes them somewhat blind to the other things that make them similar.

The good point of these aspects is that both can show the other new things, they can help each other discover certain sides of their personality. Perhaps showing them traits of themselves that they didn't know they had, or simply opening them up to being able to be those sides of themselves that aren't out of shame or fear. What many do not take into consideration is that in the case of being a square, both signs are usually of the same modality, which facilitates their mutual understanding and they can become very curious about the other. In the case of an opposition it is slightly simpler, since they are usually signs of compatible elements and the same energy [feminine or masculine]. What usually happens in this kind of relationship is a feeling of not fully understanding who the other person is, finding them eccentric in some way or not being very familiar with some of their behaviors, but nevertheless feeling very drawn to them, feeling very affinity or a feeling of being able to connect with them in an authentic way. Authentic because you see in them a person who, despite their differences, is not afraid to change a little in order to fully understand you. Both offer different and very interesting perspectives, and you can notice that it motivates and expands you to explore yourself and love yourself more.

I mention "may be" since on many occasions, in the case of squares, it can happen in signs of different modalities due to degrees. Or in the case of the opposition, because can it happen in signs that are not sister signs, again, due to degrees.

🟫Sun making hard aspects with Venus [Square or Opposition].

I have heard a lot about these aspects, especially the "you do not meet their beauty standards”, which seems very crude and somewhat ridiculous to me, since it is an empty meaning.

Being an aspect of the Sun and Venus indicates a theme of personality and fascination. What this aspect can tell us is that the two of you may be the first person that the other notices in terms of personality [for example, let's say that one of you is usually interested in very cheerful, outgoing people who they love to party, however, the other is rather introverted, serious and more of a homebody]. It's not that "you don't meet their beauty standards", since we're talking about the Sun that doesn't exactly tell us about the body, rather about the personality. They may have many differences between the two, be it in attitude, tastes or interests. Both of you can help each other see beauty in things you don't usually see it in, and if you're open-minded, the differences between you won't be too difficult for you. In the case of an opposition, you may find these differences between you something very appealing and interesting, you may even have the impression that the other complements you in those attitudes or interests that you feel you do not have. In the case of a square, it makes it very likely that they will get along but have a different way of feeling loved or accepted, so it will take a little more understanding, however, they can understand their needs [by being the same modality]. They can see the other person as someone fascinating and totally different from what they usually like, they see in the other someone extremely appealing, and maybe at the beginning of this connection, both felt that the other was out of their league in some way.

🟫Sun making hard aspects with Pluto [Conjunction, Square or Opposition].

Obsession or toxicity... surely we have all heard or read this, right? However, it goes beyond that, much more. This meaning is usually attributed to it by the powerful Pluto, whose energy can be so powerful that many seeing it may look a little scared or unprepared. Especially when coming into contact with a planet [luminary] as personal as the Sun. It is powerful energy, but it depends only on the maturity of both individuals.

A feeling of not being able to get the other person out of your mind, both of you made a very strong impression on the other, and could have easily earned each other's respect or admiration. Both will profoundly change the life of the other, as no one has ever been able to. The Pluto person will be delighted with the presence and strength of the SUn person, there will be in them that they will see as magnetically and very attractive, they will find it impossible not to feel this attraction for the other. In the case of the Sun person, you will find it impossible to look away from the Pluto person, you will feel that they are a person full of mysteries and charm, someone complex who never ceases to amaze you every time you see them. They may feel that the other gave a very deep meaning to their lives or to everything they used to know. Both of you can make the other open much more, you can feel that you can be transparent with the other and that there is no need to hide this side of you that can be considered the darkside. You can feel much more powerful after being with the other, something like a power couple. This aspect is usually related to the issue of control, one of the parties wanting the other to do and be what they want, but it does not always have to be or it’s not usually the case, it may be the opposite and they feel very liberated with the other in a certain way.

🟫Moon making hard aspects with Saturn [Conjunction, Square or Opposition].

I can imagine why a lot of people look unhappy seeing this aspect, since if having it in a natal chart can feel like a tiring ride, some think the same goes for a synastry chart. When in fact this aspect in this card is something that you do not have to deal with alone, since the relationship belongs to both of you, and if you both are equally focused or just love each other, this aspect can have a totally different connotation.

Saturn's keywords are not only coldness, restriction or karma, they are also commitment and stability. This relationship can be very serious from the beginning, loyalty and durability are usually the most favorable points of these aspects. Both may seem to be people of a different nature, Saturn person being much more controlled and private, while the Moon person is usually the emotional and sensitive one, this does not always have to collide, since the Saturn person is fascinated and touched by sweet, attentive and warm nature of the Moon person, may even want to protect and provide stability and support to the other person. In the case of the Moon person, they are delighted with how reliable the Saturn person is. They love that feeling of finally being able to trust someone and feeling that there is someone who is finally honest with them. Both of you work hard to keep the relationship afloat and make it calm and comfortable for the other person. They will rarely be seen to argue with each other and will always want to settle things calmly. In terms of opposition, both can feel more stable in terms of lifestyle [either eating better, improving their sleeping schedule or becoming more responsible] and can feel more secure in what they want or want. In terms of the square, both may not be so cheesy, however their actions will scream how much they want this relationship and commitment to the other.

🟫Moon making hard aspects with Neptune [Conjunction, Square or Opposition].

When the planet of confusion, of imagination or idealization comes into contact with the planet of emotions, it seems to be a game over. But we must take into account many things, astrologically, how our Saturns are being aspected, and more psychologically, how well we are before entering a relationship.

When both people do their part, these relationships often have a healing quality to them, both seem to be able to easily read each other's emotions and find a reason for their emotional state. Both are fascinated with what the other person is behind the scenes, they can feel that knowing the other person deeply is a journey full of happiness, magic and pure charm. They will seek to help each other, help or motivate each other to heal, they can feel like home after a tired day. However... is it like this from the beginning? Yes, but in a subtle way. It is very likely that the other's feelings are not so obvious at first, they may even think that the other does not see them in the same way, a feeling of uncertainty regarding the other person's feelings. This is easily solved, being clear with what they feel from the beginning, not fearing to address the situation quickly and sincerely. Similar to the case of the Sun, the Moon is another of the most sensitive points of the chart, so a tense aspect with Pluto can be the same or even more stigmatized than the aspects between Sun-Pluto. From feeling overwhelmed by so much intensity to jealousy and restrictions, are some of the labels imposed on these aspects.

There will be a lot of changes in both, that's for sure, especially in the Moon Person. They may feel a strange fascination and enchantment with the other person, a sense of meeting the other wherever you go, an endless curiosity to discover the deepest side of the other. A sense of charm but some intimidation, like magnets, can be very drawn to the other. Both will want to protect each other very much and will not hesitate to defend the other if they feel that someone else attacked or offended them. They can become much more caring [the Moon person] or much more protective and alert [the Pluto person] around this person. In the case of the Moon person, they will be seen to be more introspective after meeting the other, they will be much deeper with their emotions. In the case of the Pluto person, they will be seen letting their guard down a bit more, being more open and emotional with this person. The key here is to be healthy people, since excesses can overwhelm both. Both of you can be a great emotional support for the other and bring both love and loyalty into the other person's life. Being with the other can be an emotional purge to let go of everything that did not serve you in your life, you can feel that both are totally transformed in the relationship and feel that their emotions are taken with the acceptance with which they should be.

🟫Venus making hard aspects with Venus [Square or Opposition].

This aspect is usually described as somewhat tricky, since the nature of Venus in tense aspects is one of the easiest to cope with in synastry or composite, but nevertheless, it tells us about our tastes in love, our vision of it and precisely usually be pointed out as one of the most compatible aspects in a friendship than in a romantic relationship. It does not have to be this way.

What is clear from the beginning is that both can have many differences in matters of how they feel loved or how they make the other feel loved, but this does not mean that both do not feel very attracted to each other. Both see the other as someone fascinating, both in personality and in terms of their body, it seems that the attraction is immediate and indescribable. It is very common for these people not to know what to answer when asked "what do you like most about the other?" since they would not be able to say what exactly is the reason when everything seems interesting and appealing to the other person. Despite their differences, they manage to get along quite well. As soon as the moment of being in the relationship, both have to let the other know what they consider a priority in a relationship, what things make them feel loved and what things not so much, since they can be different in this matter, as I mentioned previously. In case of an opposition, the understanding will occur over time, both can find the other incredibly attractive on many levels, similar to Sun-Venus, they can see the other as their complementary opposite, and this aspect can portend something very long term. Finally, in the square situation, both can tease the other way more than the opposition would, however the fascination and attraction would be just as powerful. They do not understand the other, and they like that and motivates them to want to do it because they see them as someone who is worth trying to make that jump.

🟫Venus making hard aspects with Uranus [Conjunction, Square or Opposition].

"There is no trust or reliability" "Pull and push", I think that these are not things that we should attribute to this placement, rather they should be attributed to the fact that that person was not looking for anything serious with them. We make the mistake of justifying certain behaviors with astrology, when in reality everything depends on our maturity.

At first the attraction will be very strong, fast and inexplicable for both parties. The Venus person is charmed by the originality, sense of independence and even the quirks of the other person, their intelligence and attitude froze them and took them by surprise, so much so that they would love to continue being so surprised. The Uranus person is amazed by that unique way of loving that the Venus person has, by their incomparable beauty with others and by the strong impression they left on them. It doesn't matter how serene they both are or how thoughtful they seemed before having a crush, they can't help but feel delighted from the first time they saw each other, everything will happen very quickly for both of them, they won't have time to process why, or how, or when, they will only feel a rush of happiness when they cross paths with each other. They can get to think about what a future with the other would be like, they can become a little idealistic about the other. They will love the feeling of the other, of freedom, of being able to be authentic, because both will be amazed at even the most quirky details or that the other considers embarrassing. Both will be very playful with each other, they will be more open and can be very warm from the start. If they are friends, they may also act as a couple, if they are a couple, they may also act as friends, since both terms are important when it comes to the other. The Venus person looks very turned on by the strength, attitude and way of getting ahead of the Pluto Person, they can feel very paralyzed by them since they know what they have had to face, how hard they have fought and how strong and confident they are waiting what life still has left to give them. In the case of the Pluto person, they are amazed by the beauty of the Venus person, delighted by the way they treat them and how they seem to have only understanding and love for them, they see in them someone who loves with loyalty, someone trustworthy, that behind that calm facade hides a lot of intensity, and they can't help but feel intrigued and eager to connect with that side of them. They both adore each other's bodies, it's a reality, but what they love most is the way they love, since both have what the other is looking for, intensity, security in what they want and iron loyalty.

When I am referring to irrational attraction, I am referring to the type of attraction that defies logic. The type that makes you stop in your tracks and wonder if you are going insane. Maybe even compels you to seek professional help.

Please keep in mind that these aspects are not all of the reasons why two people might find themselves drawn to one another in an unexplainable way.

🕯️ - Why Lilith and Ceres?

Gomez and Morticia Addams are the perfect example of a couple I believe has strong Lilith & Ceres synastry. The attraction they have towards one another is otherworldly, but there is also a compulsion to take care of each other and nurture one another. The specific attraction that exists between them is primal, nurturing, compulsive, almost too hard to ignore or resist.

Like anything else, it is vital in synastry to be aware of the potential issues that might arise in all aspects.

When it comes to Lilith & Ceres combined energy, as well as the Lilith/Ceres midpoint, potential issues can manifest as: a man wanting to be the primary caretaker in the relationship, leading to possessiveness. This can also manifest as a relationship that might be a sugar daddy x sugar baby who seemingly can not get their relationship to go further but refuse to let go of one another. This is due to there being intense attraction and a compulsion to nurture but also a deep fear.

It is vital to maintain awareness of this combined energy and the midpoint as it has the potential to tie people together indefinitely.

Ceres & Lilith

This post is a guide on how to find your midpoints.

You want to go to astro.com & the extended chart selection.

However, sometimes, these links are broken or do not load correctly. In this guide, I will try to walk you through how to find your midpoints.

Navigation Bar:

If you do not know where the navigation bar is - it is the three horizontal lines on the top left.

Step 1:

After clicking the Navigation - click the "Free Horoscopes" drop-down menu.

You then click the drop-down menu for "Horoscope Drawings & Data".

Afterwards, click on the "Extended Chart Selection" option.

Step 2:

You will then be sent to another page called "Extended Chart Selection".

To find your midpoints:

Click the "Chart Drawing style" drop-down menu.

Scroll through the options until you see "Ebertin style (w. midpoints)" - click that option.

Step 3:

Click the green "Show the Chart" button.

Step 4:

You will be led to a new page with the chart you have selected.

You want to then click the "PDF Additional Tables" option.

After you click this option, you will be led to a new page.

Finale

After you have clicked this option, you will be led to a new page. Scroll down until you see the "Midpoints in zodiacal order" section.

Congratulations! You have found the midpoints you were looking for!

Midpoint Astrology: Beginner's Guide

˖⁺ ⊹ NOTE. This guide comes with several parts. It is essential for you to read each part in order so you do not get lost.

There are additional notes about midpoints at the end but please get through the basics first!

୨୧ — BEGINNING: WHAT ARE MIDPOINTS?

Midpoints refer to the point halfway between two planets or sensitive points in a natal chart. These midpoints are calculated by finding the midpoint between the degrees of two planets or points and are considered sensitive areas in the chart.

The interpretation of midpoints involves blending the qualities of the planets/points involved. For example, if the Sun and Moon form a midpoint, it may indicate a blending of one's core identity (Sun) with emotional needs and instincts (Moon). They are significant because they can offer additional insights into the dynamics between different planetary energies.

Midpoints can also help ease the tension between difficult planetary aspects. For example, if Mars is square Venus in the natal chart - the Mars/Venus midpoint can show where that tense energy can be released or expressed more harmoniously.

Midpoints can also be used in predictive astrology. Transits involving midpoints may coincide with important life events or shifts in consciousness.

୨୧ — PART 1: FINDING YOUR MIDPOINTS

I use astro.com for everything/anything having to do with midpoints. I have created a guide here showing how to find your midpoints.

Astro-seek.com also has a midpoint calculator you can use. However, I never use this one because I find it limiting.

If you use astro.com you want to make sure the table you are looking at says: "Midpoints in zodiacal order".

୨୧ — PART 2: READING YOUR MIDPOINTS

Reading your midpoints can be very confusing and overwhelming in the beginning.

Once you have found your midpoints, you will come to a table that has a bunch of glyphs / symbols. Do not worry, I will teach you how to read them!

EXAMPLE: We will look at David Bowie's midpoint table as our example.

Make sure you are looking at "Midpoints in zodiacal order".

GLYPHS / SYMBOLS: The glyph/symbol is to be read left to right.

+ The first two symbols you see are the planets/points. + The first set of numbers you see are the degrees. + The symbol after the first set of numbers is the zodiac sign. + The second set of numbers you see are the minutes.

David Bowie's Sun/Moon midpoint is in Libra at 25° degrees, 32 minutes.

MORE EXAMPLES: Try to read this as practice!

+ David's Sun/Venus midpoint is in Sagittarius at 24° degrees, 42 minutes. + David's Sun/Mars midpoint is in Capricorn at 16° degrees, 59 minutes. + David's Sun/North Node midpoint is in Pisces at 29° degrees, 16 minutes.

୨୧ — PART 3: WHICH MIDPOINTS TO READ FIRST

Now that you know how to read midpoints, which should you read first?

⎯ MY SUGGESTION: Always begin with inner planet-to-inner planet midpoints. These midpoints are going to be felt the strongest because they are very personal.

+ MIDPOINTS: Sun/Moon, Sun/Mercury, Sun/Venus, Sun/Mars, Moon/Mercury, Moon/Venus, Moon/Mars, Venus/Mars.

Keep note of the sign, the degrees, and the house the midpoints are in.

After I have done that, I will move on to other midpoints such as inner planet x outer planet, inner planet x angle, inner planet x other.

+ Inner Planet x Outer Planet: Sun/Pluto midpoint + Inner Planet x Angle: Sun/Ascendant midpoint + Inner Planet x Other: Sun/Chiron midpoint

It will also help to keep note of what other positions are aspecting those midpoints.

EXAMPLE: The Sun/Moon midpoint is at 4° degrees Aries. This means anything at 4° degrees Libra is opposing this midpoint, and anything at 4° degrees Cancer or Capricorn is squaring this midpoint. Of course, anything at 4° degrees Aries is conjunct this midpoint.

୨୧ — TIPS & NOTES ABOUT MIDPOINTS

Here are some additional tips and notes about midpoints.

+ ORBS & ASPECTS: Midpoints are extremely sensitive. They should only be read in a max 2° degree orb with the aspects being: conjunction, square, and opposition. The trine and the sextile are not relevant in midpoint astrology, you will not feel them. This rule applies to natal, synastry, etc. any chart you read.

+ PLANET TO MIDPOINT: You should always read planet to midpoint first. You want to see which planets are aspecting your midpoints, followed by angles, nodes, asteroids, etc.

+ MIDPOINT TO MIDPOINT: I personally do not read midpoint to midpoint aspects unless it is in synastry. In synastry, I only read exact 0° degree conjunctions. I do not read squares or oppositions between two people's midpoints. I only read squares and oppositions to midpoints when it comes to planets or other celestial bodies but not with other midpoints.

+ COMPOSITE TO NATAL MIDPOINT: You can compare the Composite Chart's planets to see if they are aspecting the natal midpoint of one of the people involved. Keep the same rules as before with the orbs and aspects.

+ BE CURIOUS: There are hundreds, if not thousands, of midpoints in a chart. While the main midpoints are the most important, be curious. If you want to look at things like the Venus/Eros midpoint, Hades/Persephone midpoint, Saturn/Karma midpoint, do that! Be curious always.

How many children you’ll have according to astrology

Important Info:

This method is something I believe you should take with a grain of salt. It is not accurate 100% of the time. I’ve seen it be accurate mostly in women’s charts but it can be accurate for all genders. I just thought I would share it though because it was accurate for my parents and sister. I would check both Tropical and Sidereal

How to find out:

Step 1: Find your 5th house sign then the planet that rules that sign (your 5th house ruler/lord). This does not mean 5th house planets ⟶ how to find house rulers

Step 2: Check how many planetary/luminary applying (not separating)/major aspects there are to your 5th house ruler. To find out if an aspect is an applying aspect, just check if there’s an “a” next to it

Example:Victoria Beckham

Victoria’s 5th house sign is Scorpio in her Tropical chart making her 5th house ruler Mars (Scorpio is traditionally ruled by Mars). Her Mars makes 4 major/applying aspects to her planets/luminaries. Victoria has 4 children

🟫When it comes to vibes in a person we have to check mainly two specific points, these being the Rising and Midheaven. Let us remember that the Rising tells us about the way in which we consciously project ourselves into the world, the impressions we give and want to give. While the Midheaven tells us about the first impression we leave on other people. Moon, Chiron and Neptune are points to take a look at in this topic.

🟤The one who seems to be a protector fallen from the sky receives the label of Cancer Rising, an understanding and loving person with those whom he esteems the most, they are people who stand out for their sweet and comforting vibes. That sweet way they have of caring for those they love the most and the healing and comforting quality of something as simple as their touch, their hugs are the sweetest and take you back to that feeling of being at home, at home most comfortable and safe in which you have ever been. In addition to understanding your problems and doing something to make you feel better, they give you stability.

Perhaps their imposing presence, reserve nature and the way some people talk about them overshadows this, but many of them have that healing and transforming quality in the lives of others, let’s remember that at the end of the day Scorpio is a water sign, an element par excellence linked to healing. Same goes to its ruler, Pluto.

🟤When Pluto is in water houses [4th, 8th or 12th houses] it not only gives you an intense and complex emotional world, but it gives you the courage to delve into the deepest emotions, the most painful wounds and bring out that powerful potential healer.
