100 Ways to say "I Care"
See the original 100 Ways to say "I Love You" list here: [x] I was inspired to make one of my own for caretaking themes 💕
"I'm here."
"Stay still."
"Trust me."
"You're safe."
"I've got you."
"I don't mind."
"I'm not mad."
"Lean on me."
"I understand."
"It's no bother."
"I'll clean it up."
"Take my coat."
"Need a hand?"
"Are you okay?"
"I'll handle this."
"Happy to help."
"Get some rest."
"Can I hug you?"
"I'll get the light."
"I can't lose you."
"Shh, don't cry..."
"My door's open."
"Take small sips."
"Stay behind me."
"I'll walk with you."
"Feel better soon."
"You're not alone."
"How'd you sleep?"
"I just want to help."
"I've got your back."
"Please be careful."
"It wasn't your fault."
"I'm a good listener."
"Let me help you up."
"When I say run, run."
"I'm glad you're okay."
"You're not a burden."
"I made your favorite."
"I'll see what I can do."
"How are you feeling?"
"We'll get through this."
"That's it, just let it out."
"I'm worried about you."
"I'll start a bath for you."
"I'm coming right back."
"I can stay up with you."
"I wish you had told me."
"It's okay to not be okay."
"Your health comes first."
"You need a ride home?"
"Sit tight, I'm on my way."
"I'm not here to hurt you."
"I'm not going anywhere."
"Just looking out for you."
"I'm sorry, I know it hurts."
"Let me worry about that."
"Stay as long as you want."
"I'll take care of everything."
"It's fine, I'll take the couch."
"I came as soon as I heard."
"You really gave us a scare."
"I'm not leaving you behind."
"I'm never too busy for you."
"I'll stay until you fall asleep."
"You don't have to apologize."
"Do you want to talk about it?"
"It's okay, it was just a dream."
"You ready to eat something?"
"Don't strain yourself, I'll get it."
"I've missed seeing you smile."
"Do you need another blanket?"
"You didn't deserve any of this."
"Follow my breathing. In...out..."
"Don't scare me like that again."
"I'll wake you in a couple hours."
"It's really me. I'm here, I'm real."
"I won't let them near you again."
"You first, I'll be right behind you."
"Do you want me to go with you?"
"I know I don't have to. I want to."
"You can hold my hand if it helps."
"I've got your next round of meds."
"Let me put on some fresh sheets."
"It's good to see you up and about."
"I'm with you every step of the way."
"I'll be outside if you need anything."
"Hey, you're supposed to be resting."
"You're the strongest person I know."
"Is there anyone you want me to call?"
"If you're not up for this, let me know."
"It's nothing to be embarrassed about."
"I just hate to see you hurting like this."
"Tell me what you need most right now."
"I called off work. You've got me all day."
"You've got my emergency contact info."
"I know you. You don't seem like yourself."
"I have a change of clothes ready for you."
"I'm so proud of you, and how far you've come."
"Call me if you need me. I don't care how late it is."
"They want to get to you, they'll have to go through me."

The best part of the S3 opener (and by the way, these three-part season premieres are always so intense and leave me wanting more) by far was Buck and Christopher’s new family-like bond. And Eddie assuring Buck that he did not fail Christopher during the tsunami.
More of this.
And if you have any family fanfic ideas for these three, please send me an ask or a DM, although keep in mind I haven’t seen the whole series yet and am trying to avoid spoilers! I do have one idea myself, but will always welcome more!

Abby should have never had a baby, period. I wouldn’t care who it was with, either.
I can’t believe Kovac is going to suffer thru a relationship with Abby just for a baby. At least Carter really genuinely loved Kem

So I really liked the end of S2. But especially the Madney kiss and Christopher giving Eddie his helmet.
Also a nice moment between Hen and Karen discussing whether they wanted to have another child, and I like that they’re heading this way.
Looking forward to starting S3 next week! Anticipating seeing Athena Begins in its entirety.

Wrote in a new fandom on AO3 for the second time this February Ficlet Challenge, posting my first 9-1-1 story! I know it isn’t for the most popular ship but no apologies. I hope you enjoy it!

Now that Maddie is officially free of her horrible ex, I can’t wait to see more of her and Chim in canon and join the Madney fanfic community.
Don’t get me wrong; I knew they’d survive since I saw some of S3 on USA but “Fight or Flight” still had me rooting for them the whole way. I’m already invested.

2x9, Hen Begins
Best part of the episode: “If you have a problem with me being here, you can put in for a transfer because I am not going anywhere!”

The latest entrant (no pun intended) in my February Ficlet Challenge series is this Sharpwin fic in which Helen and Max’s baby is earlier than planned and both Max and the baby arrive at just the right time!
Enjoy!

Hello 9-1-1 fans! I appreciate all the engagement in my posts so far. Been a lover of small fandoms for a while, but it’s nice to be welcomed to a bigger, more active group! I just try to avoid spoilers since I’m only on S2. :)
Couples I’m most interested in seeing: Maddie/Chim and more Athena/Bobby. And I do see the Eddie/Buck chemistry!
Favorite character so far: Athena, but I’m biased because I liked Angela Bassett in ER.
Next episode up: 2x9, Hen Begins (I can’t wait for all the Begins episode)
Fanfic: No 9-1-1 fics yet, but if you want to check out what I do in other fandoms, feel free to browse my AO3. My main fanfic fandoms are ER, SVU, and The Resident.

I’m planning to rewrite my very first fic later this year and I have had a lot of these thoughts about it. I’ve also struggled with not getting attention in a dying fandom and being hurt by that, or not fitting in.
But the most important thing is that I never stop writing. As long as I have stories to tell, I’m going to stick around.
things you can say instead of "I'm bad at writing" or "my writing sucks"
What's wrong with saying those things? First of all, you're insulting yourself and you don't deserve that ❤️ Second of all, those statements aren't going to get you any kind of reassurance in response. The only thing anyone can really say is "no, you're/it's not" - and that will almost certainly just sound patronizing to you when you're in a funk.
Focus in on your actual feelings and thoughts instead of dumping it all under the umbrella of "bad." Even if you're only talking to yourself, you'll get a better understanding of what's actually happening and a more realistic impression of yourself and your work.
I'm not satisfied with how this story turned out.
I feel like the ending is kind of weak on this one.
I'm feeling really uncertain about my characterization in this story
Is this plot too simple? I'm worried no one will bother reading it.
Is this plot too complex? I'm worried it's meandering and that my readers will get lost or bored.
Reading my own story doesn't give me the same sense of awe that I feel when I read [another author]'s story.
I don't think I achieved what I was aiming for with this story.
I'm worried no one will like this story, so I want to tear it down preemptively before anyone else can do so.
I'm worried I'm going to disappoint the people who liked [another story I wrote]
This story is really difficult to write. It's so much harder than I thought it would be / than my last story was!
I don't seem to write stories in the same way or with the same speed or length as other writers.
I feel like no one pays attention to my writing.
Feel free to add more examples in the notes. And please remember that you don't suck at writing and your writing isn't bad. You're just being your own harshest critic. ❤️

Buck, Actually is probably my favorite S2 episode so far. It had Carole from Glee going crazy, Maddie and Chim singing karaoke and going on a date (I can’t wait to see these two together), and sassy Athena. (Can Angela Bassett do anything wrong? I say no.)
The sad story about the old gay couple though? I had all the feels, especially watching Buck pick up all the photos they were going to get digitized. I wished they could have lived!
