SAHIH AL-BUKHARI, Book 8, Hadith 129
Chapter (88): To clasp one's hands by interlocking the fingers in the mosque or outside the mosque (Masjid)
باب تَشْبِيكِ الأَصَابِعِ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ وَغَيْرِهِ
Narrates Ibn Seereen (RadiyAllahu ‘anhu):
Abu Huraira (RadiyAllahu ‘anhu) said, "Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) led us in one of the two `Isha' prayers [Abu Huraira (RadiyAllahu ‘anhu)  named that prayer but I forgot it].” Abu Huraira added, "He prayed two Rak`at and then finished the prayer with Taslim.
He stood up near a piece of wood lying across the mosque and leaned on it in such a way as if he was angry. Then he put his right hand over the left and clasped his hands by interlacing his fingers and then put his right cheek on the back of his left hand.
The people who were in haste left the mosque through its gates. They wondered whether the prayer was reduced. And amongst them were Abu Bakr (RadiyAllahu ‘anhu) and `Umar (RadiyAllahu ‘anhu) but they hesitated to ask the Prophet (SallAllahu ‘alaihi wa Sallam).
A long-handed man called Dhul- Yadain asked the Prophet (SallAllahu ‘alaihi wa Sallam), 'O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! Have you forgotten or has the prayer been reduced?'
The Prophet (ﷺ) replied, 'I have neither forgotten nor has the prayer been reduced' The Prophet (ﷺ) added, 'Is what Dhul Yadain has said true?' They (the people) said, 'Yes, it is true.'
The Prophet (ﷺ) stood up again and led the prayer, completing the remaining prayer, forgotten by him, and performed Taslim, and then said, 'Allahu Akbar.' And then he did a prostration as he used to prostrate or longer than that. He then raised his head saying, 'Allahu Akbar; he then again said, 'Allahu Akbar', and prostrated as he used to prostrate or longer than that. Then he raised his head and said, 'Allahu Akbar.' "
(The subnarrator added, "I think that they asked (Ibn Seereen) whether the Prophet (ﷺ) completed the prayer with Taslim. He replied, "I heard that `Imran bin Husain (RadiyAllahu ‘anhu) had said, 'Then he (the Prophet SallAllahu ‘alaihi wa Sallam) did Taslim.”

PAKISTAN KAA MATLAB KIYAA?
LAA ILAHA ILLALLAH
پاکستان کا مطلب کیا؟  لا إله إلا اللہ
لا إله الا اللہ کا مطلب کیا؟
The Meaning of Laa Ilaha IllAllah (None has the right to be worshipped but Allah)
Etymologic meaning of word ‘ilah’
The word ‘ilah’ comes from the word ‘alaaha’. It is mentioned In the book titled “Ash Shihah fii Lughah” that ‘alaaha’ means ” ‘abaadah” or worship. While in “Mukhtar Ash Shihah“‘ it is mentioned that ‘alaaha-ya’lahu’ means ” ‘abaadah”, or worship. The word ‘ilaah’ refers to the word pattern ‘fi’al’, which literally means maf’ul (object). Thus, the word ‘ilaah’ means “ma’luh” or a worshipped object. (Refer to Mukhtar Ash Shihah, chapter “hamzah”, www.islamspirit.com)
In the other reference, Al Mu’jam Al Wasith Dictionary (part 1, page no. 25), it is explained that ‘ilah’ means every thing that used to be worshipped. The plural form of it is ‘alihah’. In Arabic language, ‘ilaah’ is also termed as ‘ma’bud’. Hence, the scholars interpreted the actual meaning of “Laa ilaaha illAllaah (None has the right of worshipping but Allah) as “Laa ma’buda bihaqqin'” or “laa ma’buda bihaqqin illAllaah” (Refer to “Syarh Tsalatul Ushul“
Explanation of The Three Foundation, author Ibn Othaymeen, page no. 77)
Terminological meaning of the word ‘ilah’
In terminology regarding aqeedah (belief), the meaning of ‘ilaah’ does not differ from its etymological meaning. Ibn Rajab Al Hanbali stated that “Ilah is every thing that is obeyed, without being rebelled, and that obedience comes from love and fear, together with hope and self dependency upon that object, plea and prayer (du’a), directed to it. And none deserve of all those matters but Allah The Mighty and The Exalted.” (See: Jami’ul ‘Ulum wal Hikam, cited from Hushnul Al Ma’mul page no. 111)
Which means, the word ‘ilah’ contains the meaning ‘someone or something to be worshipped’. The examples mentioned by Ibn Rajab are parts of worship, such as obedience, glorification, love, fear, hope, etc. Thus we can infer that ‘ilah’ means ‘someone or something to be worshipped’. This meaning was also interpreted by some scholars in tafseer, as what quoted by The Imam of the experts in tafseer, Ibn Jarir Ath Thabari (See: Tafseer Ath Thabari, at soorah Muhammad: 19) and other scholars. This meaning will be even clearer if we take a look at the meaning of ‘ilah’ in the verses of Qur’an below.
The Meaning of the Word ‘ilah’ According to Qur’an
Allah The Exalted decreed telling about the attitude of the disbelievers from Quraish, when they welcomed the calling of Allah’s messenger Shallallaahu’ alayh wa Sallam (may blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), “Indeed they, when it was said to them, “There is no deity but Allah," were arrogant. And were saying, “Are we to leave our gods for a mad poet.” (Ash Shaffaat/Those who set ranks, 35-36)
Look at this noble verse closely. When The Prophet SallAllaahu ’alaihi wa Sallam called them to testify the shahaadah ‘Laa ilaaha IllAllaah’, they replied by saying, “Are we to leave our gods (ilah in plural form)…”. This reply indicated that they perceived the meaning of ‘ilah’ as god whom they worshipped, not The Creator or such meaning.
Even clearer to its meaning, is the comparison between their statement of refusal and their acknowledgment of the Oneness of Allah on rububiyya, as Allah revealed at the other verse of Qur’an.
Allah The Exalted decreed, (which means), “Say: ‘Who provides you from the heaven and the earth? Or who controls hearing and sight and who brings the living out of the dead and brings the dead out of the living and who arranges [every] matter?” They will say: “Allah”.” (Yunus/Jonah: 31)
The meaning of word ‘they’ on that verse is the disbelievers who made an ascription to Allah, as explained by the scholars of tafseer. (See: Taisir Al Karim Ar Rahman, page no. 363)
This verse explicitly shows that the disbelievers already acknowledged the tawheed rububiyya. And through this acknowledgement, Allah compelled them to carry out the consequence of tawheed rububiyya, that is tawheed uluhiyya. This is the commentary of Sheikh Abdurrahman As Sa’di -may Allah have mercy on him, in his book of tafseer, (In Taisir Al Karim Ar Rahman, page no. 363)
Thus, the scholars from time to time refused the translation of testimony ‘Laa ilaaha illAllaah‘ to be solely meant by tawheed rububiyya.
Ibn Taimiyya said, “And the meaning of tawheed is not merely confined to tawheed rububiyya, that is the belief that Allah is the only one who created the universe, as what supposed by the experts in kalam/ philosophy and the followers of tasawwuf (Soofis). They reckon that if they made to establish the tawheed rububiyya by proposing argumentations or strong evidence to support it, they are already succeeded in establishing the ultimate core of tawheed…” ( As what quoted by the author of Fathul Majid, page no. 15-16)
As the conclusion, based on the explanations mentioned above, it is inferred that the meaning of “Laa ilaaha illAllaah” is none of the things worshipped deserves to be worshipped, as the object of worships-whether in the form of physical or spiritual worships, by heart, tongue, or body parts- , but Allah The Exalted alone. Thus, a person who committed the shahaadah (testimony) of ‘Laa ilaaha illAllaah,' has declared that he will worship Allah alone, submit himself to Him physically and spiritually, and devote his pure love and glorification solely to Him.
The Virtue of “Laa ilaaha illallaah”
Ibn Rajab mentioned in his work “Kalimatul Ikhlas," “The sentence of tawheed (Laa ilaah illAllaah-translator) possesses an intense nobility, which could not be counted.” After that he-may Allah have mercy on him-named several virtues of this noble sentence. Amongst the virtues he named:
First, the sentence “Laa ilaaha illAllaah” is the Price of Heaven
Once upon a time, The Prophet SallAllaahu ‘alaihi wa Sallam heard the shout of the muadhdhin (one reverberating azan/adhan) said, “Ashadu alla ilaaha illAllaah’. Then he said to the muadhdhin: “You are freed from the Fire.” (Collected by Muslim, in hadith no. 873)
The Prophet Sallallaahu ’alaihi wa Sallam declared,
مَنْ كَانَ آخِرُ كَلَامِهِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ دَخَلَ الجَنَّةَ
“Whoever whom last word before he dies is ‘Laa ilaaha illAllaah,' will enter the Heaven.” (Collected by Abu Daud, hadith no. 3118, Al Hakim in hadith no. 1229. Classed sahih by Al Albani)
Second, the sentence “Laa ilaaha illAllaah” is the highest of righteous deeds
Abu Dhar said, “Tell me O the Messenger of Allah, teach me the deeds which can bring me closer to Heaven and far from the Fire.” The Prophet Shallallaahu’alayh wa Sallam replied, “If you committed a sin, then perform righteous deed (after that), because by doing it, you will be rewarded by 10 of the like.” Then Abu Dharr said again, “O messenger of Allah, is 'Laa ilaaha illAllaah’ a from of righteous deed?” Prophet Sallallaahu ’alaihi wa Sallam said, “That sentence (Laa ilaaha illAllaah) is the highest of righteous deeds. That sentence can erase various sins and mistakes.” (Classed hasan (good) by Al Albani in his research for the book ‘Kalimatul Ikhlas‘, page no. 55)
Third, the sentence “Laa ilaaha illAllaah” is the most prime dhikr (remembrance)
This virtue is as mentioned in a Hadith believed to be derived from The Prophet SallAllaahu ’alaihi wa Sallam himself (Hadith marfu’) as follows:
أَفْضَلُ الذِّكْرِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ
” The most prime dhikr is the words “Laa ilaaha illAllaah’.” (Collected by At Tirmidhi, in hadith no. 3383, Ibn Hibban in Hadith no. 846. Classed Sahih by Al Albani)
Fourth, the sentence ‘Laa ilaaha illAllaah’ is the most prime of deeds, most in rewards, equals the reward from manumission of the slaves, and protector from Satan.
As mentioned in Sahihain (Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim), from the authority of Abu Huraira RadiyAllahu ‘anhu from the Prophet SallAllaahu ’alaihi wa Sallam, he (the Prophet) said, “Whoever says, “Laa ilaaha illAllah wahdahu laa shareeka lahu, lahul mulku wa lahul Hamdu wa huwa ‘alaa kulli shai’in Qadeer’ [none of the worshipped deserves to be rightfully worshipped but Allah, no ascription to Him, to Him all kingdoms and praises belong. He is The Master of all things] 100 times a day, will be rewarded as (the reward of ) freeing 10 slaves, written down for him 100 good deeds, erased from him 100 wrongdoings, and he will be protected from satan from the noon until evening, and none more supreme than him except for those reading it more than that.” (Collected by Bukhari in hadith no. 3293 and Muslim in hadith no. 7018)
Fifth, the sentence ‘Laa ilaah illallaah’ is the key of the 8 doors of the Heaven. One who says it can enter the Heaven from whichever door he likes.
From ‘Ubadah Ibn Shamit, RadyAllahu ‘anhu The Prophet SallAllaahu ’alaihi wa Sallam said, “Whoever says, ‘I testify that none has the right to be rightfully worshipped but Allah, no ascription to Him, Muhammad is His slave and His messenger, and (testify) that Jesus (‘Eesa) is the slave of Allah and son of His slave, and His sentence which was sent to Mary and the spirit from Him, and (testify) that Heaven is true and Hellfire is true, Allah will include him to the Heaven from the eight doors of the Heaven, whichever he wants.” (Collected by Muslim, in hadith no. 149)
“Laa ilaah illAllah” has 2 pillars, which are An Nafyu (refusal/dismissal) and Al Itsbat(establishment) Both pillars are taken from the words “Laa ilaaha” and “illAllah”. Here is the details:
Laa ilaaha = An Nafyu, which means dismissing and leaving any form of shirk, and refusing any thing worshipped but Allah The Exalted.
IllAllah = Al Itsbat, which means establishing belief that none deserves to be righfully worshipped but Allah, and perform all deeds based on this pillar.
There are plenty of verses fromThe Qur’an reflecting these 2 pillars. Among them is the verse: “So whoever disbelieves in taghut and believes in Allah has grasped the most trustworthy handhold with no break in it (the sentence ‘Laa ilaaha illAllah’).” (Al Baqarah/The Cow: 256)
Disbelieve in taghut (thing worshipped beside Allah) os the reflection of the pillar ‘An Nafyu’ (Laa ilaaha) and believe in Allah is the reflection of the pillar Al Itsbat (illAllah).
Conditions of shahaadah (testimony of) “Laa ilaaha illAllah”
The scholars had explained that the testimony of “Laa ilaaha illAllah” have 8 conditions, which are:
1. Knowledge
A testimony cannot be erected but by firm knowledge upon it. Thus, we are obliged to say the shahaadah by understanding its meaning. Allah decreed, “And those they invoke besides Him do not possess [power of] intercession; but only those who testify to the truth [can benefit] and they know.” (Az Zukhruf/The Ornaments of Gold: 86)
Prophet SallAllaahu ’alaihi wa Sallam said, “Whoever dies in the state of knowing the meaning of Laa ilaaha illAllah must enter the Heaven.” (Collected by Bukhari and Muslim). And the true meaning of ‘Laa ilaaha illAllah’ is none has the right to be rightfully worshipped but Allah The Exalted.
2. Convinced
Convinced means having no doubt upon the truth of its meaning thus will not be easily deviated due to many tests (afflicted upon the believer). Allah decreed, “The believers are only the one who have believed in Allah and His Messenger and then doubt not bur strive with their properties and their lives in the cause of Allah. It is those who are the truthful.”(Al Hujurat/The Rooms:15)
The Prophet SallAllaahu’alaihi wa Sallam said, “Whomever you meet outside this wall, he testifies ‘SallAllaahu ’alaihi wa Sallam’ by his heart, tell him glad tidings that he will enter the Heaven.” (Collected by Muslim)
3. Accepting
Allah told about the condition of the disbelievers of Quraish who refused the calling of Prophet Muhammad SallAllaahu ’alaihi wa Sallam in His decree, ” 'Indeed they, when it was said to them, “There is no deity but Allah," were arrogant. And were saying, “Are we to leave our gods for a mad poet.” (Ash Shaffaat/Those who set ranks, 35-36)
Arrogant means refusing the truth and underestimating other than himself. This is the characteristic of disbeliever, who reject to acknowledge the truth of ‘Laa ilaaha illallaah’. Indeed, Allah is the only one rightful of worshipping.
4. Obeying
Obeying the sentence means to perform the consequences physically and spiritually. Allah decreed, “And whoever submits his face [i.e. self] to Allah while he is a doer of good-then he has grasped the most trustworthy handhold. And to Allah will be the outcome of [all] matters.” (Luqman: 22)
Prophet SallAllaahu ’alaihi wa Sallam said, “Your faith will not be perfect until your lust submit to follow my teaching.” (Collected by Thabrani)
5. Honest
Allah decreed, “Do the people think that they will be left to say, 'We believe” and they will not be tried?.But We have certainly tried those before them, and Allah will surely make evident those who are truthful and He will surely make evident the liars.” (Al Ankabut/The Spider: 2-3)
The Prophet SallAllaahu’alahi wa Sallam said, “None of you who testify Laa Ilaaha IllAllah’ and Muhammad is His slave and His messenger sincerely, but Allah will prohibit the Hell-fire to touch him.” (Collected by Bukhari in hadith no. 128)
It could be seen that honesty is the condition for shahaadah to be valid. Look how the testimony of the hypocrites were denied by Allah due to their dishonesty, as He decreed: “When the hypocrites come to you [O. Muhammad], they say, ‘We testify that you are The Messenger of Allah’. And Allah knows that you are His messenger, and Allah testifies that the hypocrites are liars.” (Al Munafiquun/The Hypocrites: 1)
6. Sincere
Sincerity means hoping the rewards from Allah alone, not from other beside Him. Allah decreed, “And they were not commanded except to worship Allah, being sincere to him in religion, inclining to truth, and to establish prayer and to give zakah. And that is the correct religion.” (Al Bayyinah/The Clear Proof: 5)
What is meant by ‘sincere’?
The Prophet SallAllaahu ’alaihi wa Sallam said, “Indeed Allah has forbidden the Hell-fire to touch a person who testifies, ‘Laa ilaaha illAllah’ sincerely only to seek for Allah’s face.” (Collected by Bukhari in hadith no. 6059 and Muslim in hadith no. 263)
7. Love
Allah decreed, “And [yet] among the people are those who take other than Allah as equals [to him]. They love them as they [should] love Allah. But those who believe are stronger in love for Allah. And if only those who have wronged would consider [that] when they see the punishment [they will be certain] that all power belongs to Allah and that Allah is severe in punishment.” (Al Baqarah/The Cow: 165)
The Prophet SallAllaahu ’alaihi wa Sallam said, “Whoever possesses the following three qualities will have the sweetness [delight] of faith: 1. The one to whom Allah The Exalted and His messenger (Muhammad) SallAllaahu ’alaihi wa Sallam become dearer than anything else. 2. Who loves a person and his loves him only for Allah’s sake. 3. Who hates to revert to atheism (disbelief) as he hates to be thrown into the Fire.”(Collected by Bukhari in hadith no. 16 and Muslim in hadith no. 67)
8. Refusing worship to taghut
Taghut is any other thing but Allah, which is worshipped. Allah decreed, “There shall be no compulsion in [acceptance of] the religion. The right course have become distinct from the wrong. So whoever disbelieves in taghut and believes in Allah has grasped the most trustworthy handhold with no break in it (the sentence ‘Laa ilaaha illAllaah’),” (Al Baqarah/The Cow: 256)
The Prophet SallAllaahu ’alaihi wa Sallam said, “Whoever says, ‘Laa ilaha illAllaah’ and disbelieves in everything that is worshipped instead of Allah, his blood and his wealth are protected and his reckoning will be with Allah The Mighty and Exalted.” (Collected by Muslim in hadith no. 36)
Thus, for a shahaadah (testimony of faith) to be valid and accepted, he must fulfill all conditions mentioned above, not simply memorizing them.

THE BENEFITS, REWARD & VIRTUES OF RECITING LAA  ILAAHA  ILLALLAAH
There are numerous virtues of reciting La ilaha illallaah. Among them are the following:
1. Sayyidunaa Abu Hurairah (RadiyAllaahu ‘anhu) once asked Nabi (Sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa Sallam), “Who will be the fortunate person to gain your intercession on the day of Qiyaamah?”
2. Rasulullaah (Sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa Sallam) said:
“O Abu Hurairah, I knew you would be the first to ask me about this due to your eagerness for Hadith. The fortunate person who will gain my intercession will be that person who says ‘Laa ilaaha illAllaah’ sincerely from his heart.”
(Sahih Bukhari, Hadith: 99)
3. Sayyidunaa Abu Hurairah (RadiyAllaahu ‘anhu) reports that Rasulullaah (Sallallahu ‘alaihi wa Sallam) said:
“When a person sincerely says ‘Laa ilaaha illAllaah’, the doors of the sky are opened for it until it reaches the Throne so long as he avoids major sins”
(Sunan Tirmidhi, Hadith: 3590. Graded sound -Hasan- by Imam Tirmidhi)
4. Sayyidunaa Jabir (RadiyAllaahu ‘anhu) reports that Nabi (Sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa Sallam) said:
“The best Dhikr is ‘Laa ilaaha illAllaah, and the best Du’a is ‘Alhamdulillaah”
(Sunan Tirmidhi, Hadith: 3383, Sunan Ibn Majah, Hadith: 3800, Sahih Ibn Hibban; Al Ihsan, Hadith: 843 and Mustadrak Hakim, vol. 1 pg. 498)
Imam Tirmidhi (Rahimahullaah)  has classified the above Hadith as sound (Hasan).
Imam Hakim (Rahimahullaah) has declared the Hadith authentic (Sahih) and Hafiz Dhahabi (Rahimahullaah) concurs with him.
5.  Sayyidunaa Abu Hurairah (RadiyAllaahu ‘anhu) reports that Nabi (Sallallahu ‘alaihi wa Sallam) said:
“Recite ‘Laa ilaaha illAllaah’ abundantly before you are unable to recite it” (ie. before you become ill/pass away)
(Musnad Abu Ya’la, -Hadith: 6147- with a sound chain.
See Targhib, vol. 2 pg. 416 and Majma’uz Zawaid, vol. 10 pg. 82)
And Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) knows the Best
_________
REMEMBERING Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) diligently to make Dhikr can calm the heart. Many Dhikr sentences that we can practice with fadeelah or their respective virtues.
The most popular Dhikr sentences are those that function to attract sustenance. Islam in no way prohibits its people from getting rich as long as it does not violate the Shari'ah and does not neglect Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala).
In addition to striving wholeheartedly, there are various sentences of Dhikr that we can practice everyday as inviters or drawers of sustenance. One of them is sentence
لَا إِلهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ الْمَلِكُ الْحَقُّ الْمُبِينُ
Meaning: "There is no god but Allah, the Most True and Real Allah,"
As the Prophet (Sallallaahu 'alaihi wa Sallam) said: From Sayyidina Ali (RadiyAllahu ‘anhu), that he heard the Messenger of Allah (Sallallaahu 'alaihi wa Sallam) say: "I heard Jibril (“Alaih-is-Salaam) say.’ O Muhammad, whoever your people say the words 'Laa ilaaha illAllaah, al-Malikul Haqqul Mubeen' (There is no god but Allah, the true and real God) as many as one hundred (100) times a day, then that sentence will be his protector from poverty, his comforter from the lonely grave, the cause of wealth and a knock on the door of heaven,"
(Narrated by Ad-Dailimi).
In another narration, Imam Al-Baghdadi in the Hadith book of the Baghdad Date narrated from Imam Malik, narrator Abu Nu'aim narrating from Sahabah ‘Ali (RadiyAllahu ‘anhu), he said: Rasulullah (Sallallaahu 'alaihi wa Sallam) said:
من قال لا إله إلا الله الملك الحق المبين في كل يوم مائة مرة كان له أمانا من الفقر, ويؤمن من وحشة القبر, واستجلب به الغنى, واستقرع به باب الجنة
Meaning: "Whoever reads 'Laa ilaaha illAllaah, al-Malikul Haqqul Mubeen' a hundred (100) times a day, then gets a guarantee of safety from poverty, is saved from the enormity of the grave, and opens for him the gates of heaven."
(Narrated by Abu Nu'aim in the chapter of Shifah al-Jannah, Al-Khatib Al-Baghdadi in his Date: 12 / 358

Yet, a loophole provided in the same 1999 Israeli Supreme Court ruling that made the practice illegal has allowed it to continue, as the ruling only prohibited torture of detainees unless there was suspicion of an imminent attack. This loophole has routinely been used by Shin Bet, especially given that Shin Bet officials who engage in the practice have done so for decades with impunity. Indeed, while over one thousand official complaints against the Shin Bet related to its use of torture have been filed since 2001, only one has ever gone to court — a 2017 case which is still open. In addition, the use of torture has been supported by a cadre of doctors who work with Shin Bet by approving brutal interrogation tactics, falsifying medical reports and engaging in other activities that provide justifications for the use of extreme and internationally-condemned interrogation methods. Their support would also likely help protect Shin Bet officials in the event that more of these torture cases ever went to court.”

Abdelfattah Najjar, a resident of al-Fawar and Qaisi's neighbour, told Al Jazeera that dozens of Israeli soldiers had stormed the camp to arrest a different teenager. ‘Some of the soldiers stationed themselves on the rooftops of the houses, and Zaid was on the rooftop of his house watching them when he got shot,’ Najjar said. …The Israeli army usually storms Palestinian towns to arrest Palestinians wanted by Israeli security services, but according to Najjar, the raid was undertaken to arrest 16-year-old Anas al-Halqawi for leaving insults on an Israeli soldier's Facebook page. https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2020/05/palestinian-teen-shot-dead-israeli-forces-200513084506883.html July 21, 2020, The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) Kidnap Palestinian teens near West Bank Village on Saturday evening the IOF kidnapped 16-year-old Rima al-Kilani at a military checkpoint near the village known locally as Umm al-Rayhan. Israeli police kidnapped 13-year-old Zain Addin Issam from his home in Obeid neighborhood in Issawiya.

IMPROVING ACCESS TO JUSTICE IN SO-CALLED ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OF PAKISTAN
80 per cent of disputes in the country are settled by the unregulated informal justice sector
Pakistan’s top judge has lifted the lid on a poorly kept secret — 80 per cent of disputes in the country are settled by the unregulated informal justice sector, such as jirgas and panchayats, while the state justice system tackles only 20 per cent of the disputes. Needless to say, the statement by the Chief Justice of Pakistan, Anwar Zaheer Jamali, in his historic address to the Senate on November 3 hardly caught anyone by surprise.
Our media keeps us posted periodically on just how large a backlog of cases is pending in the superior and subordinate courts, awaiting adjudication. A justice system that is overburdened by a steady stream of fresh cases piling upon the undecided ones is further stymied by staffing shortages. The wheels of justice, therefore, move agonisingly slowly, frustrating the litigant public beyond endurance.
It is small wonder, then, that informal mechanisms of dispensing justice are firmly entrenched in Pakistan, especially in the vast swathes of the rural hinterland and tribal territories, with people finding it far easier to get their issues resolved by councils of village elders at their doorstep, where speed is the name of the game. This stateless justice system sometimes hands down outrageous verdicts that jolt society and spark widespread outrage — karo-kari and swara cases being the most glaring examples. Jirgas and panchayats are known to have gone so far as to pronounce death sentences. No one in their right mind can back this jirga-sanctioned murder. To counter this impulse to take the laws into one’s own hands, it is ever more important to extend the state’s writ in all corners of the country. Justice must be made more accessible and cheaper for the citizenry so that it does not have to resort to an outdated mode of getting justice. That said, one cannot argue with the utility of informal conflict-resolution structures for handling petty issues outside of court. Nevertheless, the current state of affairs does require the urgent institution of far-reaching legal reforms. What is unfortunate, though, is the current government’s apparent apathy towards this all-important area of governance.

SAHIH AL-BUKHARI, Book 8, Hadith 128
Chapter (88): To clasp one's hands by interlocking the fingers in the mosque or outside the mosque
باب تَشْبِيكِ الأَصَابِعِ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ وَغَيْرِهِ
Narrated Abu Musa (RadiyAllahu ‘anhu):
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "A faithful believer to a faithful believer is like the bricks of a wall, enforcing each other."
While (saying that) the Prophet (ﷺ) clasped his hands, by interlacing his fingers.

THE BENEFITS AND VIRTUES OF RECITING OR LISTENING TO SURAH AL JUMU'AH CHAPTER 62, EVERY FRIDAY
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In The Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Surat al-Jumu’ah (Arabic: سورة الجمعة, “Friday”) is the 62nd chapter (Surah) of the Holy Quran with 11 verses.
The chapter is named al-Jumu`ah (“Friday”) because it is the day of the assembly when the community abandons trade, transactions and other diversions in favor of assembling to seek the all-encompassing truth and most beneficent and seek the “bounty of God Almighty” exclusively. This Surah is an Al-Musabbihat Surah because it begins with the glorification of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala.
The Chapter, revealed in Madinah, has eleven Verses. One of the fundamental goals of the Chapter is to encourage the Muslims to congregate for the weekly establishment of the Friday prayer.
The Chapter opens with the glorification of Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) and the Prophetic Call and proceeds to suggest that the Muslims are not supposed to be like the Jews to whom the Torah was granted but they failed to act upon it.
SURAH AL-JUMU’AH’S BENEFITS
Our Beloved Imam Jaffar Sadiq (Radiy Allahu ‘anhu) has said that if Surat al-Jumu’ah  is recited frequently in the mornings and evenings, the reciter is protected from the influence of Shaitan and his temptations. His sins are also forgiven.
In another narration it is said that if a person recites Surat al-Jumu’ah  daily, he will be safe from every dangerous and frightening thing.
Those who recites Surat al-Jumu’ah  virtues ten times the number of those who assemble to pray Jumu’ah Salat all over the world, would be credited to his account in his record.
Those who recites this Surah every night or every day would get rid of fear of that which is frightening him; he would also be free from worries and troubles.
Every Muslim should recite Surat al-Jumu’ah  and Surat al-Jumu’ah  during Friday night; and in Zuhr Salat on Friday recite this
Surah and Surah al-Munafiqun, because the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaho ‘alaihi wa Sallam) used to do so, therefore whoso does so is following the Holy Prophet (Sallallaho ‘alaihi wa Sallam) in letter and spirit, as a result (Alalh Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) would send him to Paradise knowing this if any one does not recite this Surah and Surah al Munafiqun, he is not a true follower of his Sunnah.
