I've recently jumped back into the Fullmetal Alchemist brain rot and I can't believe the amount of thing that I have noticed now that I'm an adult and not the same age or nearly the same age as the Elrics.

These boys were left by their father and then they lost their mother. Of course, they would try to use the one thing they have control over to bring her back. They may have known it was taboo, but I have never met a child that listens to what adults have said is not allowed 100% of the time. Then, almost as if to punish just Edward. He almost loses Alphonse. He gives up his arm, and in the 2003 version he was willing to give up his life for his brothers. They fought so hard to get what they wanted that by the end they overcame the very punishment that they were given for the ultimate sin. I love this show and I will keep spouting nonsense about it.

The thing with ADHD memory issues isn't that I'm blissfully ignorant of all the things I'm forgetting. I'm stressfully ignorant. I'm never suddenly hit with the unexpected feeling of "oh, I think I've forgotten something", because the feeling is never unexpected, nor does it ever leave. That alarm is blaring 24/7. If I didn't tune it out, I'd go insane.
