general campaign updates:

the greyhawk campaign with reverence (tiefling rogue) ended. we failed to stop a demon from invading the realm and releasing a god of destruction, so uh, the world was mostly destroyed, but it was overall a fun campaign!

aspen, my hexblood spore druid, is alive and well, but constantly in a crisis about her own creation. she's over 900 years old? does she have freewill? how does she have a non identical twin if she was made in a cauldron? existence is stressful, but her emotional support toad, tiger, and elk are all there to help.

i'm playing a half-elf bard (lore)/sorcerer (divine soul) in a campaign set in an alt-timeline neverwinter. she's doing a little espionage and pulling some diplomatic strings, because boy howdy i did not build her for combat.

i'm running waterdeep: dragon heist!! i haven't dmed for a while, but it's been great getting back into it. my players are all tricksy little bastards and they get into so many shenanigans.

i'll be playing in a warhammer fantasy rpg campaign. i'm playing elisa roth, a human witch hunter who's trying to live up to her family's name, despite not being 100% cool with what comes with that.

The thing that gets me is that through the whole maze, Andhera was so adamant that it wasn't about what you did, it wasn't about sheer brute force. It was about who deserved it.

And in the end it is him who finds it, this thing that would bring greater standing to his family, this thing that would show that he CAN do this, he IS a force to be reckoned with, even without needing the help of others.

And they don't even think about it.

He doesn't even for a moment consider keeping it for himself. They give it to Binx, and there's no inkling that it's a favour owed. He doesn't even want her to know it was him who did it.

They give it to Binx, because they think she deserves it more.
