If you are in a yellow state, you currently have constitutional abortion protections but they are in jeopardy. Get active in local political groups NOW to fight back against constitutional amendments to ban abortion. Your focus should be purely on political action.

If you are in Michigan, you currently have a ban in place which is being challenged, and your governor is working to add abortion protections into the Michigan state constitution. Your focus should be on supporting the work that is currently under way.

If you are in a green state, your state has constitutional protections for abortion that are unlikely to be challenged. Your focus should be on helping others to enter your state for abortion care.

connect with abortion access groups such as Aid Access, Abortion on Demand, the National Network of Abortion Funds, or Just The Pill

volunteer to help people enter your state for abortion care, either with transportation help or letting someone crash on your couch

if you live in a green state with no current or predicted primary routes from other states for abortion access, you can focus your efforts on supporting political action in other areas

If you are in a purple state, your state currently has no constitutional protections for abortion but is unlikely to implement a ban. You have two focuses: pushing for constitutional protections AND helping others to enter your state for abortion care (see green state list).

what about an au where the boys are in an asylum and mc is a doctor helping them with their recovey?

Oooh, I like that! It’d be one of those old-timey ‘lunatic’ asylums, but for monsters. Monsters are locked up for showing signs of instability if they have magical prowess. The more powerful you are, the less tolerance there is for behaviour that isn’t (HEAVY QUOTATION MARKS) ‘‘normal’’. Humans don’t bother to research magic or what causes the instability, they just stick them somewhere they can keep them contained. Mc is there to care for the monsters trapped in the facility… and she does her best to make life a little less hellish.

Sans: A relatively low-maintenance patient who comes across as charming and funny and disarming. Seems to take his magic-suppressant ‘medication’ like he’s asked to, eats all his meals without complaint, behaves without needing to be told to, attends his ‘correction’ classes… overall, apparently a well-meaning and intelligent guy. He enjoys all the freedoms that come with being on good terms with every doctor in the facility, including getting to request which doctor does his checkups. It’s always Mc. She feels like she can have her guard down around him, let him know what’s going on in her life… like they’re really friends. There’s something about him and his humour and attitude that just lowers all her professional walls without her realising. They can open up to one another, he genuinely enjoys every moment he spends with her.

… No one… quite remembers what he was put into the asylum for. His name is in the system and he’s registered as ‘in for life’ but most of his records are corrupted, glitched out, or seem to have been straight-up deleted. What perimeters need to be on him, possible warnings, what he did to get put in… hell, even what his ‘condition’ is in the first place. All gone.

But nobody worries. He’s so easy to handle anyway… it’s̵͎͊ prob̸̬͛a̵b̶l̸y̵̫̿ n̶̨͂̅͠o̷̫̽t̶̼̰̃ȟ̵͖̦̝̹́͗̈́̈́̑̍̕ĭ̴̭͌̂̾̽̔͝ͅn̵̰̹̦̥̾͂́͐̊͋͘̕g̸̠̞̲̤̔̇̒́̿

Red: Slightly further up on the maintenance scale. He’s usually the totally normal Red we all know and love. Flirty, funny, sexy, absolutely fucking drowning in respect women juice. An absolute blast to be around and very popular with the staff.

But every now and then, once every two/three months, he has a complete meltdown… seemingly out of the blue (or red, heh). His magic totally overwhelms his mind and he just goes on an utter blind rampage, attacking everything and anything that moves. Or hell, even things that don’t- he’s nothing more than a beast. Because of this, he usually has glove restraints over his hands to mitigate the damage he could do if he ‘turned’ in the wrong moment.

Generally he’d be dogpiled on and dragged back to his room to wait out the storm until he’s back to normal, but very quickly upon her meeting Red the residents of the asylum discover he won’t attack Mc when he’s nuts. At first he just ignores her and goes to chase down a guard with a taser, but the more it happens, the more this other side of Red makes his attachment to Mc all the more apparent. Ignoring turns to staring, staring turns to petting, petting turns to losing all interest in attacking in favour of picking her up and pressing his teeth against her cheek. No one is quite sure why, but no one is going to question it, and pretty soon she’s regularly assigned to Red and is the first (and only) line of defence when his other side breaks loose and attempts to weak havoc in the facility.

Skull: All attempts at socialisation, training, ‘evaluation’ and even basic contact have failed with this giant. He refuses to speak, touch or be touched. He’s held in a similar manner to in the prison au, muzzled and bound in one room most hours of the day, under constant surveillance… the only word anyone has ever heard him say is ‘papyrus’ very softly when he thinks he’s alone. And even then, he never speaks in any other situation, so even the staff who’ve heard him speak are under the impression they misheard or were simply imagining it. He passes time by staring at whichever security camera is closest and planning his escape in his mind. He’s relatively docile, all things considered- he’s learnt that attacking the people who bring him food will only get him starved. 

Except he’s not docile at all when Mc is around.

The first time she bought him food he tore out of one of his arm restraints so he could grab her wrist and yank her right up close to just stare, stare into her eyes with his single pulsating eyelight until she was rescued and he was sedated. Whenever he hears her voice through the door he goes absolutely nuts and starts trying to break through; seeing as he’s the monster he is he’s usually almost successful. Even just mentions of her name by passing staff get him dangerously alert and active.

Everyone, including Mc, thinks he wants to kill her for some reason and has totally fixated on attacking her. Management generally tries to keep her away from his cell to avoid incidents. They’re right about one part, at least- he is completely fixated on her. But it’s not because he’s murderous… it’s because he’s hopelessly in love and can’t control his desperation to get close.

Eyyyy if you want some ideas, why don't you draw a ghost, and a zombie dog. Tbh it's the first thing that came to mind. I'm only suggesting it cause I had a weird dream where I was a ghost and I had to get a job at an ice cream stand cause a zombie Scooby Doo was like stealing from it. but he was scared of ghosts. I got the job, but he pulled a ice cream heist while I wasn't there. I got so upset that like a gorilla burst outta my mirror and that's when I woke up. That's the end of my ted talk.
