I got my beat friend to start playing Duskwood but instead of getting premium they just ask me but I restarted for the first time and so I am speedrunning the feels.

Also they asked me why Poke sounds like a 90 year old wizard which cracked me up so I felt I should share it.

Lol that's an interesting comparison. Also it surprises me how popular Poke is for the amount of time he got in duskwood. He was literally in one episode. Who knows, maybe Poke is a wizard in disguise who uses his magic to pick locks 🪄 (or to make himself popular 👀).

Four fucking years. It's insane!! Duskwood has accompanied me for 4 years. Some might say it’s just a game, but all that has become of it, this community, shows that it was more than just a game. Everbyte wanted to release a game and brought together thousands of people around the world. Thanks to duskwood I opened this blog and it became a hobby and I got to know the most wonderful people in the world. Duskwood is definitely not just a game!

I just finished playing Duskwood for the first time (I finished in 2 weeks-) and I just want to yell multiple words at the sky because it was so good- How are people not constantly near tears after finishing this game-

IT DEFINITELY IS THE BEST GAME I'VE EVER PLAYED 📢📢📢📢

And let me tell you, all of us were in absolute tears after finishing the game for the first time. A few of the people in this fandom have been playing this game since the time it had only 3 episodes. I have been on this fandom ever since the game had 7 episodes. We usually had to wait for 3- 5 months till the next episodes came out. When episode 10 was announced we were like, 'this is it, it's the ending'. The day episode 10 came out was so chaotic 😭😭😭

I definitely cried like a baby at the end of the game. And I was really hung up on the cliff hanger FOR WEEKS.

I just want to get this off my mind now, I've been thinking, for like quite some time now... It's slightly heart warming to me that how we all have become like family, like seriously. I don't think there's a day that goes by where i don't think of our fandom, even if I'm too busy to login or anything, there's always a thought of you guys every now and then and i can't help but smile every time.

Where was i going with this? Right. As i was saying, it's been a very great journey with everyone, from the start, i think I've been here for almost 2 years and I've seen nothing but support, compassion and empathy from everyone of you and I'm grateful to be here, so thank you for having me, even though you may not always get what you want from my blog. Thank you for having me <3

We've all grown so much, i feel like we were all in elementary school and then now we're growing up together with new people coming in every once in a while/ lot of people coming in. Some are here, some are not, some have left to continue their lives... though it saddens me, i wish nothing but a good life for them and for everyone of you. I've made amazing friends here, more people than i know in real life, really. (Don't know if it's good or bad xD)

I have to say, even if we don't chat or have never chatted, never communicated and are just silent buddies, i still appreciate your company and am grateful for it. If we do talk, well, it's the same! XD

I don't know why I'm writing this but i just feel like... We've been together, as a family, through tough times for everyone even though we know absolutely nothing about each other's real lives, atleast not that much, i find it damn amazing because seriously, we're strangers but we're also not? No idea how to explain but I'm sure you get it... I hope so, otherwise it's awkward for me xD

The only thing I wanted to convey through this long message is... i don't know, just feeling nostalgic, i guess, whether it be us getting excited for the episode release date and playing it like there's nothing else in the world with so much excitement or the wait for the new game and the theories we make or the "wars" we have, it's really something, it's treasurable memories for me and for many others because let's be honest, i don't think many of our real life people would understand our love and excitement for such little things, i personally have never heard anyone say it's alright, they've just given me an odd look whenever i get excited for this so it's a nice feeling when you come back after a long day and have something to be excited for, it's doesn't really matter if it's with a online community.

Lastly, i just have to say, i know many are struggling with life, whether it be, financial issues, mental health, family, relationship, friendships etc... You're strong for going through it and i love you no matter who you are, i am grateful for you, i appreciate you even if we haven't talked (which we can change anytime, by the way xD) and you deserve every bit of happiness you get, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

Before i get more dramatic on a Monday morning, I'll end this by saying this again, I'm very happy to be here, in this community and i don't know what's going to happen next but i sure do know it's gonna be a hell of a ride. For everyone and i know we'll be alright.
