Fried fish with veggies meal set right next to Ueno station. How does Japan make everything so delicious? I can eat this everyday.

First lunch in Japan. The best one yet. If you want authentic Japanese grilled fish this is the place to go. Seasoned and grilled to perfection. Lunch is cheaper. This is lunch set #2 for 1300 yen. Free rice refill. No English menu so just be adventurous and point to whatever on the menu 🥢

Can you hear the sizzling sound? 😋. Decent bibimbap with a good price tag. Comes with miso soup and kimchi. Worth every penny of that $10.99

Pretty interesting surf and turf fusion restaurant. They even have a huge aquarium inside 🐠! The appetizer Spicy Togarashi Shrimp is a must try! Lightly sweet and sour, perfectly seasoned with a hint of spiciness make this my favorite dish here. The prime time roll was meh. The cheesgeburgooshi (cheeseburger and sushi fusion) roll 🍔🍣 was better. Might give this place another try next time just because the appetizer was really good. Love the decor.

Behold, this bowl of pho is as good as you can get in NYC. Pho Metro was opened a couple of months ago by the owner of Omai in Manhattan. One sip of the broth and you can tell right away this is serious stuff right here. Unlike other restaurants who diluted their broth, the broth here is cooked overnight and concentrated with the essence of beef. To top it off, this bowl of goodness is only $8. You just can't beat that anywhere. Pho Metro 31-16 Farrington St, Queens, NY 11354 (718) 886-7435 https://goo.gl/maps/DarkNW1JkEo

Fish and chips. Price was ok; food doesnt stand out much. Maybe if you’re in the area and want to eat seafood this might be the place for a try.

Gluten-free deli. Their potato and french onion soup were pretty good. The salmon salad wasn't exactly outstanding though. This location is near the airport and is quite busy during lunch hours.

Possibly the best Asian restaurant in town. The menu is designed as a magazine. Pretty creative. The place is spacious; 2 restaurants could probably fit in here. Apparently this is a Chinese Malaysia cuisine restaurant. Lots of food are from Taiwan though but they are all so delicious.
The seasonal watermelon drink was delicious as well. I ordered grandma’s fried wonton with bbr pork noodle without soup. Believe me it tasted way better than it sounds. Will be back for more.
Direction: If you don’t have a car, you can get there by taking bus #39 from Doraville Marta Station which stops right in front of the restaurant. Transfer is free!

Just love how this restaurant is built around a big old tree. All the tables and chairs are made of wood as well. Very trendy and spacious restaurant for seafood lovers in Cancun. You can order a huge shared plate of seafood. Prices are pretty standard. I had fried plantains with cream and condensed milk for dessert. It was just alright.

Seriously the best meal I’ve had in Cancun. And I can say I had the best fried fish in my entire life here. This was my first ceviche in Cancun and it did not disappoint. The refreshing spicy and sour taste from the salsa and lime, along with the freshly caught shrimp really can take you to a different world. Did I mention there was unlimited refill of tortilla chips and crackers?
But the highlight of this meal was the deep fried fish. The skin was so crispy you can hear it crunching in your mouth. The seasoning was just right, salty enough to make you keep eating. This is one local eatery that anyone wants to eat Cancun’s seafood must visit.

Cool bar in town where the cool kids go hang out. Prices are almost like U.S. except their salsa and whatever spicy sauce they provide are actually spicy and taste better. I had shrimp cocktail for the first time and there was a lot of fresh shrimps and the sauce was addictively spicy.
