FlannelFoxen Giveaway!!!
Ends: December 10, 2021
Hey vultures! I wanted to show my appreciation for you all so I got a few things to give back. I bought duplicates because they were so cool. I thought I would share. I just want to say thank you to everyone who has supported me on here. I could not do what I am doing without you.
Prizes: Up for grabs is a brand new fleece throw blanket, ceramic fox, and a mystery curio box! The box contains animal bones, a skull, bird bits (legal of course), fur pieces, bug in resin, shells, crystals, a vintage postcard, vintage photo, tiny animals, etc. Total prizes are valued at $70.
How to enter: First, you must be located in the US. I cannot ship internationally but I wish I could. Second, you must like or reblog this post. More reblogs = more entries but don’t spam your followers. Have some class. Let other people have a chance. Third, you must be following me. I will be verifying the winner. If the winner is not eligible then I will choose another.
When: This giveaway ends on December 10, 2021. I will choose a winner through a random selection. I will announce the winner on Saturday the 11th. I hope this gives enough time to be shipped before the holidays. I will pay for shipping so don’t worry about that.
I will be happy to answer your questions. As always, you can visit my shop if you would like to buy any other vulture-related things. Good luck everyone!! :D

Current endeavor! Roadkill fox from yesterday. Debating on trying to skin and tan it. Never attempted that before so we’ll see!
Did however remove the tail and tail bones, filled with salt to dry it out right now.

Ouija board resin mold update! I think it came out well, decided to paint the letters with acrylic paint so they are a little more visible. Would have been nice with white paint but I used what I had.

8 point whitetail deer, maceration in progress. It’s been in the bucket for about a week now after letting it naturally decompose in woods for a few months. Water is replaced every three days

Whitetail Doe I picked up last year. Clean and glued teeth back in and glued lower jaw back on. Later added the crystals not sure that I like them but wanted to try something different!

VC Shit People Dont Talk About
└─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───┘
{PSA : im not saying that literally no one ever talks about these but they sure were a surprise when i started the hobby after lurking 5ever}
✧ flesh is SO hard to pull straight off the bone
✧ the smell of fresh blood is surprisingly grosser than you think
✧ finding roadkill with an intact skull is harder than it seems
✧ pulling teeth is like trying to run away in a nightmare
✧ the flies that surround maceration are more annoying than they are icky
✧ the smell of maceration buckets may seem to be not that bad from afar, but waft over
✧ larger and fatter animals have skin that is so difficult to penetrate compared to small and extremely active ones
✧ specimens rarely have their eyes as crows will typically get them first, unexpectedly finding intact eyes is like an irl jumpscare
✧ it’s so much fun to work with specimens and discover things like which tendons curl the paw and such
✧ the smell of death will stay on your hands for like an hour after ur done (but only to you, it won’t smell like death to anyone else)
✧ the maggots on maceration specimens aren’t just a small cluster, it looks like someone poured white paint on that bitch
✧ collecting roadkill is hard, not because its superglued to the road, but because ur trying to avoid GETTING HIT BY A MF CAR
゚*☆*゚ lol that’s it i guess ゚*☆*゚
