Ecofinisher's crediting list for the "Ecofinisher 2.0 Sims 4 Game File"

About two months ago I think, I was thinking about wanting to do another save file again on Sims 4, but I didn’t know when exactly. During a procrastination moment I got into with fanfic writing, I took a small break and did other things, got from a work friend a couple of notebooks since she knows I love to write and I wrote down something I dreamt once wondering if it could be turned into a plot…..then as it was actually something for Sims, I thought about writing it down as a family summary. Around that week, I gathered more ideas and noticed down, what I had in mind to do. From an instruction video, I read the many variations people used in their save files and I decided to use the content only from the gallery. Content made by other Simmers. There are a few families out there, that I still created or downloaded from my starter-times in the game, because it wasn’t enough or I didn’t have any family in mind to fit the plot.

Notes:

- This save file contains objects and clothings from the following pack: Get To Work, Cats and Dogs, Werewolves, My first pet (Free/UTB free) and Holiday Celebration (Free/UTB free).

-The following worlds were used in the save file: Willow Creek, Oasis Springs, Newcrest, Magnolia Promenade, Brindelton Bay (1 new lot, the rest remains the same), Moonwood Hill. (1 new family is located there)

-The game should be free from any CC. There’s a possibility, that it could have something I have missed.

- I recently installed MasterController and some things I have fixed with it, rather than manually. *coughs* career.promote-cheats….you know, that way.

Moving on, here is the link, and it's packed inside a ZIP-file with a PDF file of all the buildings I screenshotted straight from the gallery with the original creator's name. The screenshots were too many for this single post only and it would be annoying to make more posts solely for that. The PDF file consists of 30 pages, but most of the sheets are just screenshots and the family that lives in it.

Households

The Alto family. The red-marked is the original one from the gallery from user gemz123. The one you'll find in my game has base-game content only. I only have the mentioned packs above and tried to stay closer to the original.

The Alvi-McIrish household. (McIrish are based on the mother-daughter duo from Ts3's Single Moms household and the Alvi are the ones with the single divorcee Dad from Sunset Valley) I had the Alvi's saved a long time ago in my gallery and I couldn't track back the right creator. I assume it was hestiah23. I only remember redesigning their clothes back then. McIrish as seen in the red square was made by gemz123.

From gemz123 I have gotten her parents. As far as I know, the user hasn't made its own version of Blair as far as I know. So my current favorite version of Blair is from this user mentioned in the image. (Oh I also took screenshots to facilitate for everyone, when looking for those versions on the gallery.

Taken from my other save file I shared back in 2023. Here you see hestiah23, the original creator and the clothing were put into owned games to prevent them from being "naked" (Oh and Judy's a scientist, lol I forgot about that)

The Goode and Bad household from Twinbrook. Ah from the last sales I bought Ambitions and played with them. (It was the only family I was familiar with 😂Wish I had got the game earlier)

Where are my former PSP gamers at? Do you all remember Annie Howell, the bar girl? I remembered her existence and had to add her in the game as well, knowing that she was a werewolf in the game and I had the pack as well! TengGong had made a great Sims 4-version of them. If you own said packs, you're definitely going to enjoy having them in your game. I had to go with what I had and follow somehow the PSP design.

I had a different plot for them, but changed at a later point. I was meant to focus on either Kaylynn or Parker, but ended up getting the idea to make Iliana "the main character" Iliana being the workaholic we know suddenly finding herself lost and needing to find her way back to reality. The Langeraks and Zelda are shared separatly, but were made by the same user. Also gemz123. The dog is from the user rnr1975 and is the house dog of Iliana and served as her therapy dog during her low days. I picked a Leonberger, which only exist in the gallery by other users as the game didn't own one in the breeds list.

The Jones-Brown family. Also from Twinbrook. They're not part of the plan, they are homeless. I thought about adding Jenni, because of the summary of the Goode and Bad household.

Yeah, I gave Mortimer parents in the game. They're also from the gallery, just one of the two happens to be dead now. - They also are dressed differently in the game. Very hideous, sadly :/ If you got the packs above, you'll get this look as DolphinSimmer13 made 😍

The Ritchi household. (In other names "The Megamind household)

They were both variations of them alone or together already. I preferred these two versions from two different users and set them together in the game. Roxanne doesn't need a lot of packs and Megamind is base game, so you wouldn't have a problem, when downloading them from the gallery.

The Sekemotos - OK, in the game they live separately. Yumi lives in a smaller house in Newcrest and Leighton is located in Oasis Springs with his toddler Sam. Everyone's favorite "legacy daddy" lives just like in the OG Sims 3 as a single Dad, just he might be interested in someone in this new town. If something is going to happen between them in the future.....it's up to you.

The Ursine household - Like girl, screw Jared Frio and everything, that happened in Sunset Valley. Take your daughter to a new place and raise her on you own. You have seen in life more men and women were doing the same with their kids and it's possible. Also from gemz123 - Simmers, seriously all his Sims 3-inspired Sims look so close to the original. This user so far has impressed me with how detailed the results were.

The Wainwrights - Owning the Get to Work park, they deserved to make an appearance somewhere in the game as well. "Eco, what idea did you even have for them? People barely know them?"

I stuck with the same plot as in Sims 3, just it progressed here 😂 I had read recently, that Oasis Springs is basically Strangetown, so....military, science freaks, weird shit.....why not?

Ok Ignore the name there, I had to remove their original kids from the save file and that was just my "emergency save name" - Just in case I save households during CAS, because you know.....freezes, crashes and mostly at the wrong moment. Luckily nothing has ever happened to me in the past weeks, but you never know. (As an avid fanfic writer I learned to press CTRL-S every 10 seconds to avoid trouble 😭)

They live separately in the game. Thornton had an affair with Jamie, while being married to Morgana. Both women figured it out and broke his heart and became friends. What happened next? Guess, who fulfilled Morgana's deepest desires? 😏

The Mysterious guys! People might look at the bio and wonder.....hmm they seem familiar, others would be.....some weird-ass looking Sims.....then you enter the game and notice one or two other Sims and realize......THOSE ARE FAMOUS SOCCER PLAYERS! I picked the ones, that went into my head first. (Of course, Messi and Ronaldo would be part of it xD Kinda obvious) They're also from different users, so I'm sharing all Sims separately and adding the RL picture of the players.

Adding a dislike button would be worse, than not getting hits at all. It is already sad, when people claim to annoy writers for not writing anything "new" because the prompts are predictable and all that.

"AO3 doesn't need a "dislike" button"

Um, actually, it already has one. Depending on your specs, it might look a little different but over all it looks kinda like this:

You can find it at the corner of your screen, which corner is dependent on your layout.

Anyway, if you dislike a fic, you can hit this Dislike Button until the fic goes away. It really is pretty amazing actually.

Someone reviewing "Book of Life" inspired me to do this

It's just a test, might use it for something in the future.

What surprised me, is that she walked inside it. (We all know Sims don't follow our path always)

And I forgot to turn other game packs on and to not close and open the game again, I just did with what I had present.

I remember once writing "Will you marry me" with those round ground lights in big and after realizing I used the whole space it only was "Will you marry". This is why I'm glad grids exist in-game 😂

Ah the face, when she sees the whole set-up. Get a set of chairs, a table, a flower (See? I wanted Generations to get the bouquet!) tons of candles, which I had to light up all one by one.....I'm starting to think I was about to impress a sociopath....Just kidding, that's the in-game face. Any cheat or pose and a different angle would made it super.

I used to think superb wasn't a real word. Yeah, I picked up a "cheap" food, because using Lobster or Angel's cake was too much.

I think I'm gonna use Arthur Langerak in this. Honestly, I can't recall any guitarists by my mind right now -_- Stiles McGraw apparently doesn't count :/

They still want to do this? If they're smart, I hope they don't follow anything of Sims 4 and focus on the game's actual lore. At least the lore from the first three games.

OK, this is JUST my idea, of what would be amazing to see them focus on.

WHAT really happened to Bella Goth and evtl. how she got brought back. (Like the full story of what happened to her etc)

The role of iconic characters in the movie being a thing in the plot (Exp. The Goth family, The Calientes, Don Lothario.....)

Eventual childhood of Bella and co. where you meet the kids she went to school with + their families too. (Exp. Malcolm Landgraab, Mortimer Goth, Kaylynn Langerak......)

How TF Sunset Valley became Pleasantview. (Definitely the Landgraab & Alto rivalry)

Or something similar to Woodwinked or Slumdog, where every major character is interrogated about Bella's disappearance and you hear everyone's backstory about their relationship with Bella. (Had once a weird dream like that)

Bella's kids investigate together about her absence and figure out, that Bella's disappearance "was good for something"

I don't know. Those are random Ideas. One thing for sure is, that fans would love it if it was lore-focused or Bella-focused. In the other hand, I can't read people's minds, but have an idea, what are no-gos for most of them.

Money doesn't knock at your door - Sims 3 Oneshot

Ruby Langerak sat in the kitchen doing her homework. She was home alone and had the company of her family’s dog only. Her parents had left for work and if anything was up she had her own cell phone which she could use to call them. Additionally, she has her grandparents' numbers saved on her cellphone, who live on the same road as her.

Ruby had only a couple of questions to solve on her booklet, then dropped her pencil on the book and got up to get into the kitchen to get herself a glass to fill with a drink. Ruby opened the fridge to take out a tetra pack of orange juice, then filled up her cup. Ruby took a big sip from her glass, then observed the Corgi-mixed breed enter into the kitchen heading to its water bowl to drink. Ruby smiled from seeing the dog drinking, then approached her to pat her on her back, causing her to growl. Ruby chuckled from seeing her growl but continued drinking. Ruby returned to the dining room and placed her glass on the table, then sat back on her chair to continue her homework. Before she picked up her pencil, she heard someone ring on their house door earning the attention of the girl. Ruby looked at the door, then watched her dog Maro run at the door barking earning the attention of the raven-haired girl. Ruby got up to walk out to the living room, where the entrance was, and saw her dog put her front paws on the door to sniff the door. Ruby glimpsed above the window to see the side of a woman, which she couldn’t recognize from anywhere, and heard her knock on the door of the house.

“Hello! Is anyone home? We’ve got a surprise for you,” The voice said and Ruby looked down at her dog, which sat in front of the door analyzing the scent of the person from the gap under the door.

“I am not allowed to open the door to you,” Said the girl at the door, then leaned her ear at the door to see, if the person would answer.

“Hello, little girl. Where are your Mom and Dad?” Questioned the woman. “I’ve got here a prize for the first person, who opens the door. If you open the door, you will win 1000 Simoleons sponsored by Radio Indie Channel,” Stated the woman behind the door, then Ruby looked at her dog, who used her paw to dig by the gap of the door.

“I don’t believe you,” Said Ruby stepping back from the door, hearing the woman behind the door chuckle.

“Can I show you the bill at the window?” Questioned the woman behind the door, then knocked on the window, causing Maro to bark upon hearing the woman knock on the window and lean a purple-colored bill on the window earning the attention of the girl. Ruby gazed at the bill curious, while Maro barked at the window and Ruby glimpsed down at the barking animal.

“I’m not opening the door,” Said Ruby.

“If you don’t open you won’t make your parents happy by getting them a bill for free. Wouldn’t you like to make your parents happy?” Questioned the woman making Ruby furrow her eyebrows tensed about the woman’s words and the kid ran back into the kitchen leaving the dog back, barking.

Ruby picked up the cell phone from the table to search for her parents' number and pressed the latest called number, which was from her father.

At the local theater, Ruby’s father Parker Langerak was onstage pulling along with three other stagehands a large, wooden board shaped after a city.

“Be careful with it,” Warned the brunette woman behind Parker with whom she held the cord to move the piece.

Inside the pocket of Parker’s overall, his cell phone began to ring calling his attention.

“A quite inconvenient moment,” Mentioned Parker, then watched his Aunt come along with Stiles McGraw and a blonde man, who was looking at the preparations of the stage. “Aunt Zelda, can you do me a favor and see, who’s calling me?” Questioned Parker earning the blonde woman’s attention, who approached his nephew.

“Who’s calling you during work time?” Questioned Zelda shoving her hand into the pocket to take out the smartphone and see the name of Parker’s daughter. “Oh it’s Ruby, shall I attend it?”

“Yes. She what she needs,” Answered Parker moving backward with the woman while pilling the board higher. Zelda nodded while accepting the call and placed the phone by her ear.

“Hello Ruby, It’s me, Zelda,” Mentioned the blonde observing Parker move forward along with Juliet Verona behind the blonde’s nephew.

“ Hi, can you tell my Dad, that a mysterious woman knocked on our house offering me 1000 Simoleons? I don’t know, who she is and I ran into the kitchen to call,”

“Uh okay, look Grandma and Grandpa are home. I can give them a call to pass by. Is that okay?” Questioned Zelda hearing the girl hum. “Just don’t open the door until Grandma or Grandpa appear by you, is that alright?”

“Yes,”

“Good girl. I will turn the call off,” Mentioned Zelda pressing the red button after taking the cell phone off her ear and watched Parker hold on to the rope, while Juliet along with another stagehand approached the board to move it against the wall. “I’m calling your Dad. Ruby said a foreign woman knocked on the door offering her money,”

“What?” Questioned Parker surprised, then Zelda nodded from his reaction. “Did she open the door?”

“No, she got into the kitchen to call you,” Mentioned Zelda looking for the number of her brother-in-law and upon finding it she pressed on it. “Don’t worry, Dustin is going to look out for her,” Assured Zelda placing the phone against her ear.

By the home of the Langeraks, Dustin got out of the house holding his phone with the shoulder against his ear.

“I’m on my way, tell her I’m coming,” Announced Dustin, then took his phone down into the pocket of his jacket and trotted quickly above the road going above the sidewalk passing by the first house across the Bunch household and spotted a brunette woman with a microphone in front of the entrance of the house watching a man stand there with two children, who looked up at the woman with a big smile. Dustin observed the woman curious, as he seemed to recognize her from somewhere and spotted her giving the two kids a purple-colored Simoleon bill, making the kids jump in excitement. Dustin furrowed his eyebrows confused, then noticed the woman had a microphone in her hand with a symbol on the textile of the device. Dustin realized, that the person by the door must have been the woman knocking on the door of his grandchild, then sighed in relief from knowing Ruby wasn’t in danger for a moment and walked across the grass to approach the home the younger Langerak generation resided, then gazed through the window. Dustin heard from the interior the bark of the house dog, thereafter he knocked on the window and spotted from behind the wall of the kitchen Ruby glimpse out and smiled as she recognized her grandfather. Ruby ran to the door and the blonde waited for her to unlock the door, then she ran into his arms making him smile.

“Thanks for coming, Grandpa,” Sputtered the girl leaning her head against her grandfather’s arm. “Is she gone?” Questioned the kid making Dustin nod.

“She’s at the house there,” Mentioned Dustin. “Want to go with me and see her?” Questioned the blonde watching the kid shrug his shoulders, then look at the neighbor’s lot to see the woman walk out. “Was that the woman?” Questioned Dustin making Ruby shrug her shoulders.

“I’m not sure,” Responded Ruby, then Dustin whistled earning the attention of the woman, who spotted the duo. The woman waved with the microphone at the duo, and then Dustin looked at her grandchild, who eyed the blonde neutrally.

“That’s just Jessica from 24 Indie Radio. She’s one of the radio hosts. You might have never seen her. You only know her voice, if you would listen to the radio as much as the adults do,” Mentioned Dustin making Ruby nod, then look at the woman approach the Langeraks.

“Good Afternoon. Do you two live here?” Questioned the woman making Dustin shake his head.

“My son and his family do,” Responded Dustin. “My granddaughter returned from school and has to wait for her parents to return. She was alone in there, so this is why she didn’t open the door before,” Explained Dustin making the woman smile at the man.

“I understand that. I’m sure her parents taught her the right to not open the door to strangers. That she rejected the 1000 Simoleons surprised me a little,” Noticed the host. “I hope I didn’t scare her that much,”

“It’s alright,” Said Ruby quietly, then Dustin caressed her shoulder.

“You did, what your parents taught you. We’re just lucky it was just Jessica doing her show. Next time we might get the prize,” Mentioned Dustin with a wink, earning a nod from the girl. “You sure have already found the winner, right?”

The host nodded and looked at the house, she had come from.

“Their kids had opened the door and called their Dad. They were suspicious as well, but got happy as they knew it was reality,” Stated the woman making Dustin nod. “I wish you two a good day. I have another destination outside of town. If you’re interested….turn the radio on,” Said the woman forming with both hands the pistol, making Dustin smile along with Ruby at her deed and the woman made her way out of the lot heading towards the street, which led to a file of other homes.

In the evening, Ruby sat in the living room of her grandparents playing along with her Aunt Kaylynn on their console bowling. Dustin was in the kitchen cooking for the family and his wife was collecting the needed cutlery to take it to the table. Iliana shrieked as she heard Kaylynn yell as she scored in the game with the bowling ball and gave her niece a high five.

“Two strikes!” Announced Kaylynn proudly, while Ruby smiled at the excitement of her aunt. “Now you’re second again,”

“I will go in front of you again, don’t worry,” Assured the raven-haired kid, making Kaylynn smile and watch her niece prepare herself with the remote looking for the camera as the TV signaled her to be afar from the device. Kaylynn lifted her head as she heard the doorbell ring, then got up and walked behind the couch to head to the door.

“I’m on it, Mom,” Mentioned Kaylynn spotting her mother walking behind the stairs to go set the table. Kaylynn smiled as she recognized behind the door her brother along with his wife River, afterward opened the door for them. “Good evening,” Greeted Kaylynn opening her arms to receive the brunette, who hugged the woman tightly.

“Great to see you, Kaylynn,” Said River, then rolled her eyes into the living room to see Ruby raise her fist from scoring in the game. “Is Ruby alright?” Questioned River making Kaylynn nod.

“It turned out to be one of the radio hosts doing a challenge, they’ve been doing weekly on the radio,” Mentioned Kaylynn. “My Dad happened to recognize the woman when he left,”

“Oh that’s why she spoke about 1000 bucks,” Commented River understanding the issue, thereafter she spotted her daughter get up from the couch to head to the entrance.

“Mom!” Spoke Ruby loudly, making Kaylynn step aside to let her niece get into the arms of her mother, who embraced her.

“Ruby! How are you?” Questioned River holding her hand behind the head of her daughter. “Did you feel scared today?”

“I had no idea, why she wanted to give me 1000 Simoleons. I thought it was a trap and called Dad,” Wailed Ruby earning a nod from the mother, who kept caressing her daughter and pressed her lips on her daughter’s cheek.

“Everything is fine. You did the right thing calling for help,” Commented River and Ruby got out of her mother’s arms, who grabbed the daughter’s hands afterward. “Per coincidence, it was just the radio host looking for potential winners around our road. We would have won if you had opened the door, but we couldn’t know,” Mentioned River making Ruby nod neutrally and watch her father step into the house to embrace his younger sister. Parker looked down at his daughter and bowed down at her to check her out.

“You’re not sad I didn’t open the door?” Questioned Ruby making Parker chuckle and shake his head.

“I mean it would have been a great opportunity to accept the prize, but you couldn’t know that,” Responded Parker watching her daughter nod with a disappointed face. Parker noticed, that he made his daughter feel bad and he stepped close to embrace her from behind. “But you showed us, that we did a good job raising you so far,” Mentioned Parker watching Ruby look at him bewildered.

“How so?” Questioned Ruby watching Parker pull his daughter closer to him.

“We taught you, that you should never open the door to strangers, even if they do you silly offers like wanting to give you money or candy. That’s what I’ve meant to say,” Explained Parker. “Or even strangers offering you a car ride or saying they have candy in their car,”

“I know, I don’t have to go in there,” Noticed Ruby making Parker nod and River cupped the cheek of her daughter.

“And that’s exactly, what every parent is trying to tell their kids. There are people out there, that are up to no good and may take you or other kids away,” Informed River. “I’m proud of you,” The mother commented making her daughter smile glad, then received a kiss on the forehead. Ruby smiled, then eyed her father and his sister, who smiled at the kid. River looked at the two siblings, then placed her hand on her daughter’s shoulder again.

“Go on and play. We will all join for dinner later,” Informed the brunette making the daughter nod, who returned along with Kaylynn to the console to continue their match.

“Good, that Zelda attended the call,” Commented Parker earning a nod from his wife, who shoved her arm around his to observe their daughter play with her aunt on the console.
