There is nothing wrong with tinkerbell being black it's that Hollywood is so obsessed with LOOKING woke that they fail to understand how patronizing it possibly can be to poc when filmmakers, and writers (in this case from Disney) do not want to create original black characters and princesses of their own. It's also the colorism for me. It's always the light skinned or mixed ones too.

There's actually being inclusive and then there's this fake woke bs. Stop changing characters like that. Also why is there a pair of lightskinned/mixed twin GIRLS when they're supposed to be the LOST BOYS. The FUCK. At least try to HIDE that you're fake woke- you could've put a pair of darker skinned twin boys.

It already looks like a dumpster fire and I don't like it. Will not see it/support it or at least give Disney the satisfaction of awknowledging it any further. Dont waste your time or energy repeating the same basic concepts to people. If you explained to them how something makes you feel already and they do it again-it's not a mistake. They fucking heard you and they don't care. They made the decision to do it anyway knowing how it makes you feel. Especially if it's over and over again. They are making a choice and they made it. When you're fed up don't let that person guilt trip you or badger you into immediate forgiveness. That's giving them permission to do it again and it's feeding their egos because they're not facing any consequence. Don't let them gaslight you or tell you that you are overreacting. It's a thing called cause and effect; it's a reasonable emotion to have when someone deliberately continues to do something knowing that they are hurting you. I know it's easier said than done but I want you to know it's ok. Whether you're afraid of being labelled mean or bitchy or afraid that it might cause you to lose the person then is it really a relationship worth saving? I want you to know it's ok to stand up for yourself. You tried to be civil and communicate and you're allowed to set boundaries and have expectations.

Now it's November and it's closer to Christmas. My little sister asked me for a specific book for Christmas. Its common, everyone knows it by now, it even had a way too long running Netflix series so it was definitely there on the website. Everyone knows what it is and what it is about so I wanted her to have that privacy instead of having to carry it everywhere with her bc-like how some people are with Jennette McCurdys book- she doesn't want certain people (in this case her bullies) knowing that she's reading it.

I get on the website to find out that it was shut down by the FBI. I thought this thing was a legitimate/perfectly legal public online library as it claimed to be. It seemed to check out fine to me when I was using it and sharing it to others. It was reccomend to me when the book came out and I made a status on fb saying I was going to order it on audible. Got a message from a friend saying that I should go to this site if new books are sold out, not on libby, on Kindle unlimited or in the library. This library had this whole deduction section on its main page about how their goal is to provide access to books for all regardless of your background/situation...it wasn't like they were doing anything downright horrible

But

I guess in the end it did violate something and if that something was to rip off writers-then it deserved to be shut down.

Anyway, I still have a PDF of the entire book saved on my phone.

If you (or anyone else) knows a way to give it to you directly from my files please let me know. We can discuss comfort levels and consent depending on what can/can't or will/won't work.

Either way, for anyone new reading this here's some more context: I have had SO many people ask for this book and they retrieved it with no issue at all. There was no conditions, no bs, nobody had to explain themselves, and everyone was happy. Its the same book the only difference is you would have to talk to me directly about how you want to obtain it. Otherwise, I'm sorry that you missed out when it was easy :( and I hope you find another way to obtain the book.
