Prompt #724
Character A's life has suddenly become a video game. Nothing about their life changes for them, aside from the fact that, though they're the main character, they're not the player. A is confused when B, the player, who they can hear (whether or not they can communicate is at author's discretion), is not, in fact, bored out of their skull by the monotony of their day to day.

Prompt # 722
In a small town where the existence of Supernatural Sentients (such as werewolves, vampires, sirens, and the like) is an open secret, mysterious happenings begin, coinciding with the arrival/return of the new human (allegedly) bed and breakfast owner, whose family used to live in the area. These happenings are kick-started by the arrival of a 4 year old selkie in the town's only lake, whose lost her coat (lost, not stolen), and has begun attacking the town's inhabitants because she can't hunt properly on her own, stuck as she is between human and seal.
The owner of the B&B is the MC, and is descended from a line of former supernaturals cursed to be human as result of their own hubris - owner is the one who breaks the curse, returning to their supernatural form, but decides to stay in town and keep running the B&B because they enjoy the work and the people. Strange happenings may or may not be a result of them getting close to breaking their family's curse.

Prompt #721
Through a series of unlikely and impossible happenings, coincidences, and shenanigans, MC is sent back in time, changes history by dropping a pencil, returns to the present, and is named the sovereign of a much changed (enter country here) monarchy.
As sovereign, he’s allowed to do whatever he wants, so long as it does not change the current state of the monarchy, and has no authority, duties, or responsibilities. He’s provided with enough money that he could never spend it all, no matter how he tries (and he does, setting up a number of charities and donating to quite a few more; it doesn’t make a dent), and owns a number of grand palaces around the world - that he’s unfortunately not allowed to sell, turn into museums, or otherwise change their base function.
He exploits a loophole and turns them into halfway houses for the homeless instead, by claiming them all as his majesty’s ‘guests.’ He then leaves on a perpetual world tour so no one can kick them out - as there exists a protocol that requires their host to be present before his guests can be asked to leave.

Prompt #710
The World’s Most Wanted Supervillain retires to run a non-profit sanctuary for wolves. Turns out while they were always incredibly dangerous when messed with due to the nature of their (unique and recognizable) ability, they were only labeled a villain due to their preferred target - rich people, and nobody knows what they actually look like without their mask. As such no one thinks to look for them at their wolf sanctuary until some moron starts trouble and they accidentally use their ability  protecting one of their charges. Now their former nemesis (who they may or may not have had a slight crush on at one point) is in town looking for them, and wouldn’t you know it? They’ve always loved wolves, too!
